Voges takes a stunner on debut to remove Franklin. 7/287

Watson will win this for the Aussies? Your infatuation with him is way over the top mal, he has bowled pure rubbish and only gets wickets due to players going the slog. 2/64 off 8 is pretty poor form, we can't afford him bowling that crap in the world cup.

mal you are just getting ridiculous now. "Watson will win it for the Aussies". What a joke. Gets 2 wickets with blokes going for the slog. Conceeds 15 off his final over 14 of which the number 10 made. Face facts he isn't a very good bowler.

Great finish coming up. 7 runs to win off 6 balls. The best bowler for Aus bowling, Bracken. 1 wicket remains.

McCullum hits the first ball for 6. 1 run to win. What a player McCullum. What a joke Australia. Will always struggle when we have to bowl 10 overs of puss from Watson.

Dot ball. 4 balls to go 1 run to win.

McCullum 4 runs. NZ win. What a win to NZ.

Good win by NZ but what an absolute joke of a side we have become. We have gone from unbeatable to embarrassing. Our bowling is absolutely terrible.

Australia gets what they deserve. Pick useless twits like Watson and you can't expect to win. Since Watson has come back into the side what have the results been? Coincidence?

When a guy has gone for 43 from 4 overs and they all go over or through the leg side, wouldn't you not have Hogg bowl 10 and have Watson bowl as few as possible? Just doesn't make any sense. Bringing Voges on i thought surely it would be to take a few of Watson's overs.

Watson was close to breaking the ton too... he is so incredible overrated i'm not sure why so many people seem to love him. He is just a pretty boy who spends his time at the gym and doing his hair.. he is soft as butter and can not bowl for shit. Also for all the weights he does he still can not hit a ball powerfully.. he can get out of the team as far as i'm concerned.

Bracken seems to bowl a lot of full tosses at the end of an innings too which gives me the shits.

Listen it is not just Watson, Johnson bowled poo as well and at times all bowlers let it slip. How many times did Bracken bowl middle and leg stump (ful) in the 3rd last over...

We have a bit of work to do boys, particualry in the confidence and belief stakes as no mater what size ground you should e able to defend 346....

Christ are we missing Symonds, Ponting, Lee, Clarke and Gilchrist from our first choice side or what....and we may have to face facts Lee and Symonds probably wont play much cricket in the World Cup (Lee certainly at long odds)

Where we proabbly lost it is that Voges went for 33 off 3 overs, normally Ponting has 3 bowlers (Clarke, Symonds, Hogg/Watson) to bowl the 5th bowlers overs, this time he had just 2 -Voges and Hogg. we lack that flexibilty without Clarke and Symonds not to mention their fielding....

Hmmmm...yes.

Johnson >8 per over, Watson almost 9 then 3 eleven run overs from Voges. The Kiwis will be having a good ol' chuckle tonight. Watson is just a pretty boy.

NZ greatest win Ive ever seen in cricket after being 4/41

Mike HUSSEY 4 games as captain 4 losses
HOGG 7 OVERS 0/44 GETS DRAGGED why oh why oh why

TAIT 2/60[10] not too bad
JOHNSON 3/81 [10] tried hard, will learn
WATSON 2/88 [10] useless effort
HOGG 0/40[7] dumb captain drags him
VOGES 0/33[3] VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY DUMB took 3 overs of HOGG
BRACKEN 1/44[9.3] acceptable

ROD AU is losing because we have 5 blokes out not because of WATSON
Im sure when you look at the previous 50 games he played in[before the last 5]
that AU were winning a great majority.

15 off WATSONS last over 11 thru snicks to fine leg + 3rd man
Bad bowling extremely poor captaincy to not have these 2 spots virtually
behind the keeper for GILLESPIE a notorious snicker.

HOGG only 7 overs ......

Pretty good point but how much of England's turn around was them improving compared to Australia deteriorating.

Australia if playing their best side would not have done as badly as we did in this series. What i think is most disappointing is that we have flirted with form by not having Ponting and Gilchrist go to NZ. Unlucky yes, with the injuries to Symonds, Clarke and Lee but we still didn't pick the best side available from fit players. Not showing any respect to the opposition and we got what we deserved.

The joke made 68 today....oh thats right we conviently forgot that.
And he is the leading wicket-taker on tour.
I would say the blame must go to the other FRONTLINE bowlers as well.

The first 43 he conceded were not from snicks. They all came from shots through the leg side. Surely a bowler at that level could get the ball outside the off stump?
