Great win for the brum. Good game, plenty of chances, arsenal let another piece of silverware slip.

thanks for the updates JTC, much appreciated, especially early on before I could listen to the 2nd half live on sportsworld.

It did sound like Arsenal werent that solid at the back, but looked dangerous when they went forward.

No worries MT. I saw you were on line.

You know I don't think he did

Dragged Bower down for what should have been a 1st minute penalty. No way was Bowyer offside.
Flapped and missed for brums 1st
Was no where near when Fahey hit the post
And spilt it for Martins goal although the defender was at fault

On the other hand Foster kept Brum in the game with 3 or 4 top class saves and deserved the MOTM award

Another blunder at the back for Arsenal. Great win for the Blues through, everyone talks about Arsenal's trophy drought but Birmingham's is a lot longer. Huge result for them. Hopefully this derails Arsenal's League campaign.

Arsene Wenger commented after the match, "We got what we expected from Birmingham - they are a team who fight very hard and cause a lot of problems from long balls..."

Couldn't resist could he?

What psychological effect will this defeat have on the gunners? Another fall at the last.

can only hope its for the best. Fantastic goal by RVP tho for Arsenals goal. Take nothing away from that but Birmingham looked the better side from the kick off. We were just outplayed and out classed in a way
