Have done absolutely nothing until a fortnight ago, so I am pretty happy with a couple of kilos off. Looking for a big March!

Put on 4 kilos in Febuary
Oh dear and to think there were 28 days in Febuary
Im now 12.5 kilos heavier then when this thread started

MARCH 1-APRIL 1
Just going to have a real go at getting fitter, healthier and skinnier in the next 30 days
Ive got a few ideas that I will implement as I go along
I will be keeping a diary of this months progress and will post some of the happenings in this thread intermittently

Goal
Will aim at a minimum 5 kilo loss in March

Bought the Rapid Loss meal replacement shake

This is what is on the label

RAPID LOSS
Always feel full
Stop cravings
Rapid results

Boost energy
Eat real food

I felt fullish on eating
Did not stop cravings on day 1
Results, too early
Boosting energy, didnt notice any diff
eat real food, how does a shake equate to real food ?
Jonny Young sang a song in the sixties ''shaking all over''

Used the shake for Breakfast day 1
light lunch
norMAL tea

My exercise for day 1 was stretching and swimming

I will weigh myself after 1 week

QUESTION
Has anyone tried replacement shakes
And do they OR did they work ?

Yes, I got down to 93,4 just before Christmas and rose to 97Kg by mid-January.
Obviously I can't afford to relax and eat festive food, or now that I've recovered from last year's surgery I have to do a lot more exercise...

No soft drink in house

I was in the same boat as you mate, finished last season at 98.4 and wanted to get under 90 for this year. Got to 89.5kg before Xmas then an overseas holiday ended that roll, came back at 92.5kg and still there, trying to get back into the 80s by round one.
Out of curiosity, how much alcohol did you drink while you lost the weight? I've put the ban on it until Round 1 (April 2), hoping that will help me get there.

No change in alcohol consumption but ensured I had a hard session in the gym on a Sunday after night on the cans which probably made me end up taking it easier on Sat nights.

Is it too late to join? I'm on a weight-loss journey as well this year

Started the year at 105kg
Currently on 99kg
Goal weight by the end of the year is 80kg (ie losing about 1kg a fortnight)
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
