who are peoples tips for Cricketer of the Year? getting to that time of the year. for me it's Jake Kuss. Bloke has 35+ wickets and 200 odd runs in a team thats going to finish bottom. outstanding effort for mine. peoples thoughts?

If Kuss has another good day with bat and ball this weekend he could definately win it ahead of elliot and lintern. He is the form player in the comp at the moment! Did he play meyer shield this year?

B Wilson in with a chance...

On another topic, can anyone confirm the rumour that the Semi Final between 3rd and 4th is going to be played at Rapid Bay?

Fallen for that one too many times.. might have won some more finals had it not been for the dreaded "stay where you play" idea.

It always seems the right idea at the time, Offcutter! Back in the mid 90's we decided to 'stay where we played' for a Sat/Sunday fixture @ Encounter Bay. Umpteen years later I'm still trying to piece together what happened between being thrown out of the Crown on Saturday night and being grounded by my parents on Sunday evening!

we stayed at rapid bay on a friday night before a game over there a few years back. we had a great night, not so sure the people in the camp ground did though. Modra's rendition of the last post on the bugle at 3:30am wasnt real popular.

Lol
We decided a few years back after the captain "The Worm Coliacovo" decided on the sat of grand final weekend to hire a place at middleton, After many hours of antics and few hours sleep, Myponga/Yank successfully chased 189, Few sore Heads and lack of Pride later, woukld suggest not the best idea

Exactly. And the risk of other injuries certainly increases. Our record for "off field incidents" at Rapid is not something to write home about, either.

Car crashes, injuries involving swimming pools, breakdowns.. in fact, a mojoriy of them involved the previous captain!!

The more I think about, the LESS I want to think about it!!

You knew what was coming so you just drowned your sorrows early. 189 was never enough when a guy like wopper is batting at number 8 ;)
