i agree ATCA would beat PDCA if both full strength but i can tell you PDCA were far from full strength no offense but that side was a little embarrassing to look at..

only two or three would be in the best X11

missing sibbick, oz stama and his partner in crime jimmy and a fit feltus would walk into that side also jenner, chad mcinnes (keeper) - (slapper) haha

Anyone can argue this and that about best 11s beating others but its all heresay and in the end the 11 blokes representing your comp are the best available. Maybe next year all these "cocky" associations can put their best team on the park and prove how good they really think they are...

spot on groover pdca were the best team this year so people can say what they like we all know turf have better players that could of played and didnt same for pdca but exactly what you said each side picked there best side that was available and pdca WON simple as that so again congrats to all the pdca boys!!!

What i don't get, is looking at the photos from Thurs. and reading all the positive posts etc from everyone about the PDCA winning etc, why don't the assoc and clubs promote and encourage the assoc games more? Why don't blokes want to play higher or test themselves or even just be proud to be named in the "best XI" in an assoc?

U must have really watched the game , Craigmore made 179 and in reply we were 3 for 126. Well done to the Craigmore lads. But especially well done to our boys and girl, to make the grand final. Not one of our kids go up next year. We will have the same side. We also had 7 first year players this year which is great for our future.
