We haven't had Les for obvious reasons....but heard he's very good. Would be a shame for him to miss a deserved final due to who's playing in it.....if that situation arises.

I'd be happy for Les to do our games ;)

I think les is only doing the grand final..

My point exactly

What would Les be like if he did do the Grade 1 GF and it was between Brahma and Westies?

Up to Second XI if you made the side?

dropped to the c grade apparently work isn't a good enough reason not to play

So whats ur excuse for not rocking up then. Worried u werent up to it. OR u are too good for that grade. U might want to change ur club listing from Brahma Lodge cos ur gonna find it tough ever getting a cricket game there and as for footy I can see u spitting it by the end of rd 2. Will only last this long cos I wont be there rd 1.

i said dropped to the c grade never said i was playing on Saturday never confirmed this.. if you haven't noticed i couldn't care less about cricket other things are more important to me and for footy you should know its a different story..

you have my number no reason to cry on here

Never confirmed u reckon - all the messages thursday where u knew u were playing C grade and u would text me like u had done all season if u couldnt play - never got that text - in my book thats confirmed. I do have ur number. Why didnt u answer when I rang u on Saturday. I even left a 'nice' message for u. I like that u think ur committed to football. I guess if we compare it to ur commitment for cricket it would be high. If I compare it to what I would expect from an ex club captain and now senior player u fail. How come ur not captain now?? As for having a 'cry' on here - its the one place that u actually seem to take notice of. I have stuck up for u a fair bit over the last few years. All I can say is not any more!

Ha, ease up Turbo, the Lodge this season have been the most professional outfit the PDCA has ever seen, I don't think this will affect the top two grades, good for the ratings though.

Its ok LM, I wont bite. We have nearly 100 registered and active players on our list, coordinating and filling five teams every week is demanding on captains and selectors as most clubs would know. Bound to be the occasional spit. Sounds like this one is resolved once and for all. ;)

I was making a compliment mate. No doubt you would have some struggles at the selection table, I know how hard it gets when you have a core of 8 or 9 in lower grades that like to stick together.

Not you LM, I appreciate your comments, I meant that nasty Papas from Craigmore.....

I have been thinking about that and I reckon C grade teams or 'Middle" teams at clubs can be the most difficult to get to gel. You have the older blokes who perhaps dont want the pressure or are not quite up to playing higer anymore. But still expect the game to be played at a decent standard playing with guys who are good enough to play higher but dont have the desire or the disipline. It can be an ugly mix.
