Its a week day and if you get poor fields you get poor crowds (bar a couple of horses the field in the 3YO trophy were cats eg devlino, the ozie boy,kingnadim...FFS its a $200,00 race) the crowd may build up a bit more later in the day...

Not to mention Mal being there.. that would scare lots of people off..
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Yes I was there in the fashion tent.
I would pay $15 every week for that entertainment.[+ $6 car park]
There were fashion parades
There was a solo guitarist singer
There was glamour everywhere
A $400,000 race
And you can bet in between
Sensational day

I still wouldnt spend even $2 on a norMAL day there.

Meanwhile at Angle Park doggy meeting they shut the breakfast menu at 11-00
Some might say 11-00 is too late, only prob is the first race was at 10-35
PUNK paid $3 for a 330ml soda water
He buys 1.5 litres at this supermarket for a $1

Thats 0.66c a litre
or
$9-00 a litre

What about the administrators who programmed both the twilight races
the same day as a o/d game at Adelaide oVal
