A few words kept echoing in our heads last night, one PG player as we left their ground after round 11 calling out "Good luck in Grade 2 you *********'s".

Thats it? Come on mate dont be shy...dont you believe in a team setting a target? Or is that considered rolling over?

No issue with targets whatsoever. I'd make it as much in our favour as I could though....particularly if we just had our asses handed to us.

I was merely agreeing with Dogmatic in regards to his reaction to the "nothing to lose" comment. If it was me, I wouldn't give the opposition a sniff if we were missing finals. Never give a sucker an even break.

We learnt the hard way. Round 14 we pantsed Sandy Creek and they were on the road to relegation. They scored enough second innings points to stay in Grade 1....just. 2 seasons later, we lose the Grand Final we were never meant to lose against them.

Fair enough.. I did watch that gf as it was another one two wells couldnt make.. But to be fair sandy would of came straight back up and the same result would of happened..maybe... On the other hand if i was in a team that couldnt make finals and it was the last game, i would most def try to finish on a good note, i wouldnt careless about the other team and where they could finish, unless of course it was brahma ;)

Ha, I'm never one to count my chickens, even defending 9/355 I wasn't going to sprout off, we replayed the comments many times last night, there was a great deal of man love going on, we won our flag as pitiful as it may seem, we set out with a plan 6 weeks ago, we achieved it.

Last time i looked there is more than one team at Brahma. Five teams and five semi's. No one really cares what you buy

Wow... Just watched the A League soccer Grand Final... Central Coast had the game won then at the last minute... Brisbane Roar steal it away from them.
Shades of Brahma Lodge against Two Wells in the Para District cricket semi final a few years ago, Bloody Weather!!!
