Having said that love their MaxiDivGOLD.....

Gives you an extra 5% for every length your horse wins by..... up to 20% for a 4 length+ win.... Made me shite loads on Shocking on Saturday and helped my Black Caviar dividend in the multis!

I've hit $100 shots before but only twice with $2 EW. I won with Shylight in race 5 but also had small bet on Taureen or something rough with that name in the same race.
Adopted it for the day, having a proper bet and backing a roughie in the gallops. I reckon a debutant won a race at long odds at Narrowmine but it wasn't the longest shot in the race so I missed that one.
Come AR7, thought I would try and go big on Niblick. Didn't back Cybercin, despite looking closely at the 300/1 fixed odds. Was tough to watch that race result.

the biggest roughy I hit was Lavendiz one day at flemington going up the straight

it was first up, it had trialled well and in fact had trialled against the race fave My Dads Cash (something similar) and MDC was around $3 and Lavendiz was around $90, it had predominantly orange colours with i think green in there

My best bet which wasn't as flukey as posted earlier was hitting Rebel Raider in the Vic Derby 2008. Only got $60 on the tote, $100 trackside or fixed I think.
Also snaffled percentage of trifecta after boxing four horses. Turned out the horse which ran fourth was in our boxed trifecta also, so if we had the first 4 bet on, would have landed $16,000 I think.
The tip somehow came from James Ezard, who has connections through Lindop or something?

I am confused with unitabs fractional betting. If in a qauddie I am betting 50% of div, does that mean the most I can win is 50% of the pool? or if I am the only one with the ticket can I win the whole poool? Is it the same for trifecta's.

You can only win 50% of th pool, the rest (if no one else wins) will jackpot.

Pretty sure with Quaddies they changed the rules so that if you have 50% but you are the only one who gets it you get the whole lot.

They did have the same rule with First 4's but that has now reverted back to being that you only get 50% of the pool even if you are the only one who gets it...

and that was a terrible decision with the first 4's

a few times people i know jagged the whole pool for a 25% unit in fact one of those people has posted on this site but has gone missing in action for a while
