Surely they need to make a decision soon, otherwise we could have a farcial situation where they are crowned champions only to be stripped later on.

I think QPR have until this week end to report back. Apparently the Argentinian (why does it always seem to involve Argies) has 3 separate owners and has been at QPR since 2009.

The FA have made it clear they want this dealt with before the play off's

Pidge Burnley are a rabble. Scabbed a 1-0 over Palace after being under the cosh for all of the 2nd half. Were easily beaten 3-0 by Millwall and we were lucky to get nil, and last night we grabbed a lucky equaliser late on completely against the run of play.

Our back four are bad, really bad, particularly Carlisle and Duff at centre back. Way too slow, and Fox must be the worst left back we've had in 15 years.
We only have Cork in midfield who is on loan from Chelsea and only Rodriquez with any gusto up front.

No depth and no ambition from the board to invest any of the money we got last year, or the £12m we got this year or the £7m we got for Fletcher.

Come on, lay it on the line JTC. If you were a betting man would you have money on the clarets to earn playoff spot?
I reckon you will sneak in, be suprised if you can win the playoffs but if you can scrape through the semi anything can happen in a one-off game at wembley.
Leeds or Cardiff to miss out although the latest im hearing is QPR getting slugged 18-22

They should definitely look to use some of that money to try and get back to the EPL.. surely!?
We've got the best Keeper in the league IMO, but it's not much use having him if our defence isn't doing its job. We've scored the most goals in the CCC this season, but we've conceeded almost as many. I was hoping Kisnorbo would be back fit by now to sort out the defence, but he's not going to be back this season, plus he's out of contract, soo i don't even know if he'll stay with us. I hope he does.

Is that even possible?
I thought the maximum penalty was 15 points. :?

I thought 9 was maximun originally but im hearing the league isnt too happy about them still being promoted, they dont feel its enough points. Surely though they can only inflict maximun penalty allowed.

That's what everyone thought 2 years ago. No one gave us a hope against Reading over two legs and then a final with Sheff U.

One of the best days of my life

I just don't think we have the ammo to reach the play off's

If I was a besting man I wouldn't have had them to beat Millwall 4-1 at 33/1

Regarding QPR, I don't think there is a maximum penalty as the situation hasn't occurred before. We are not talking about that standard penalty for going into administration. And remember Leeds, they got hit with 10 points at the end of the season and then a further 15 points for the start of the following season once the dumbass FA finally cottoned on to what they were up to.

There is no precedent. I would be suprised if the penalty is more than 10 points, but hey, with the idiots we have running the game, who knows what penalty they will dish out, if any at all.

Another game, another late goal conceded by Cardiff.

It was 0-0 at the half, 3-3 at full time.

Shock loss for Leeds going down 2-0 to Sheffield United.
Pretty disappointed JTC, according to most of the reports the clarets were fairly ordinary against Bristol City going down 2-0, what was your impressions of the game, obviously we dont get to see much over here.
Reading have come from nowhere, unbeaten in last 6 and now up to 7th, making a late charge and with with cardiff, leeds and forest spluttering they could nick a spot in playoffs.

Didn't see the game Jim but by all accounts no better than Last week. We've gone from being the dark horse to non runner in the space of 2 weeks.
We are still in it with a game in hand but not on current form.

Leeds are back on track with a 4-1 win over fellow playoff hopefuls Nottingham Forest.
Captain Jonny Howson, Luciano Becchio and a Max Gradel double.

Forest had a red card early. Filthy tackle. People are saying it shouldn't have been a red!

Another piss weak effort on Saturday. Why do we give the opposition a two goal lead before we decide to start playing.

There are some serious questions hanging over both the team and the new manager

It seems Reading have come from nowhere to be in 6th. They have a game in hand and if they win that they are 1 point from 5th.
Norwich have a pretty tough run coming up, soo the race for second is still wide open.

Wide open for Leeds maybe. Not for the clarets I'm afraid.
We are woRse now than we were under Laws and that's saying something.
Embarrassing springs to mind.

Mind you, what do you expect when you have a board who take back a the money they invested as soon as we get promoted and refuse to invest any of the £12m parachute payment or £7m we got for Fletcher, into the squad.

We have wasted whatever we have spent.
£1.25m for Leon Cort who is out on loan at bottom side Preston.
£1.25m for a striker who is long term injured and was brought from a side 2 divisions below us.
Fox who must be the worst left back at the club since Mark Winstanley.
Bartley, another who was brought in from Swindon.

Eddie Howe is a young lad who plied his trade in the lower leagues and has only ever managed Bournemouth. Who in the industry does he know? And who could he attract to BURNLEY?
I think the singi gs answer both those questions

There is still time for Burnley as they have a game in hand, but it's running out pretty fast. Forest haven't won in 6 and need to get their act together. Reading are on a roll at the moment. Now they sit just a point behind Leeds.
