I would of thought it would be the same date as the seniors, maybe the week after then.
Are you and Picapoo doing the 18's again ? I'm pretty sure I saw him outside districts last night when i left training, It could of been the dude punching above his weight from the KFC ad though.

Districts going for 3 flags on the trot this year, alot I believe have been training with the senoirs, so should be fit

First game Sunday 10th April

14 game season

3 divisions

Final 4

GF Sunday 14th August
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

It was a week after last season and seems to be the same again according to Fourth Estate, thanks FE

Yeah me and Piccachu are doing the job again.
That would have been him you seen, Districts are not clearing 3 players to us from the 18's.
We have been told they havent paid there fee's which I think may be untrue.
but what i find disapointing is they were also trying to hold the lads cause they had their premiership guernseys that were given to them from last season. Wanted the boys to pay for them.

Given to them by whom though ? If the commitee gave them to them than the commitee should honour that but if the coach dished them out maybe he should pay, not sure what guernseys cost but it can't be cheap replacing a set every time you win a flag

Fisty, I could go on and on about this topic. Port Districts knock back almost every clearance request from other local clubs. And it is always fees or guernseys and 90% it is completely untrue I reckon Haven may have even paid Districts money to get LMA himself cleared. We have had a player who has paid his fees there since under 9's get knocked back for fees. It is basically their way of getting $150 for players cleared out. Another great example is 2 players left North Haven in 2009 and were cleared, they wanted to return in Round 7 of that year both having paid their fees, in order for Haven to get them cleared that weekend they had to pay their fees again as Districts would block it based on that reason.

This has been happening for at least 13 years that im aware of and will continue to happen. Even more disappointing when it is U/18's.

Would the northern division start the week after the A/B/C Grades, since it's a 10-team comp with final five like the seniors?

Sorry not sure it was in the most recent newsletter 3 x 8 team comps. It is possible sides have been juggled around to create the 3 x 8.

Sides for Yellow (1st round) are
Flinders Park v Kenilworth Flinders Park Oval
PHOS Camden v Henley Camden Oval
Plympton v Lockleys Plympton Oval
Mitcham v Goodwood Saints Hawthorn Oval

Easy way around that is to demand receipts for payment of the fees then they don't have a leg to stand on.....
