Port Magpies get new Major Sponsor

Postby Wedgie » Fri Feb 23, 2007 6:57 pm

Scott's Transport Group has joined Maughan Thiem Ford and Pagel Glass as major sponsors for Port in 2007.

I hope Mr Scott doesn't come out and say "the Magpies will never win a flag under Timmy Ginevar!" :?

Wasn't Allan Scott supposed to be a Bays man?

He was but went to Port along time ago, hasn't actively supported the bays for about 12-15 years....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Reminds me of another topic on here, all Bays people seem to end up at the Port.

Maybe it's because they're building all those apartments at the port.

wow good on port. They will have a good season this year.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Geez, not only do they steal their champion players and club administrators from other clubs, but their major sponsors as well :)

Scott Transport has never been a major sponsor of the bays, only ever a minor sponsor, especially to assist our work in the SE zone.

IIRC he was naming rights sponsor of Port Adelaide in the mid 90s -

Have you forgotten about the time that S Williams threw a phone at Woodville a couple years back.
