For the lads in my team, i'm extremely proud of you all, it's been my privilage being the captain of such a great bunch of lads this year, regardless of the result this weekend, you're already winners for what you have accomplished this season.
Don't take for granted playing in a grand final, enjoy the experience, make the most of it. There are mountains of people who wish they were in your position today, people who would give anything. You never know when your chance might come again.

Rant over :D

PG what an awesome effort to bowl salisbury west out for only 54 runs.... mick howe lion hearted effort with the ball 6/25 in reply you guys are on 5/85 i think???

Amazing effort from the my lads today! Really worked hard, bowled tight and held our chances. Mick Howell.. the bloke is 35 and bowled 17 overs on the trot today, just tidy wobblers on a length and took 5/24 and got the big wickets, really put the game in our favor, good partnership bowling with Bedgegood who i think got 3/8 off 10!! Stumps we are 5/87. I think we just need to work to drinks tomorrow and SW might concede. We still have a long way to go though, and SW being a quality unit, I'll be making sure we do our best not to give them a sniff of getting back in the game!

PS thanks to the North Pines lads who love us so much and raced down after their B grade got pummelled!!
Rolled up half cut screaming out and abusing us and telling us how much they wanted to see SW flog us soooo bad etc..

Poor them, they rolled up when we were 2/70 after rolling SW for 54!

And to the monkeys from North Pines who want to get personal to a few of my lads including an overweight gentle KID.. well tomorrow don't be shy, come say hi to me!

Heard from a couple of guys that they heard the edge behind from 65 mtrs away? Anyway, apparently all the commotion woke Merlin up who was minding his own business having a nice old snooze. (-|
BTW Oz, 800 odd runs and 20 odd wkts wont win you a McKenzie! ;)

Who you praying for? :)
200 odd batting first is a better than average score in a GF....Brahma slight favourites.

In my experience that should be too much for Rosies in a Grand Final, however Rosies have a lot of match winners and if they get that total, without Duane, they'll well and truly be deserved champions. Will be interesting viewing tomorrow. Brahma are very conservative with the ball.

you sound jealous mate.. maybe if half your side werent stoners you would be there

great post and great verdict on the game and if sleep got caught when he shudve (payney) it would be very close result, even if the batters couldnt back up there sledging (linhart) funny how cocky ppl can get playing grade 8 PDCA when they do f all.. but sleep today was a clinic to watch and TTG deserve to win.. well done timmy alosi with putting x distict players in there spot
