Was a good hit out for the lads played in good spirits for the entire game.
Good luck to the Hope Valley Cs for the rest of the year.

Nice edit, I saw the original :p

Good luck to Ovingham in Div C2.

After being out on Saturday I believe they have the correct man at the helm for the job (not once did he mention the score on the weekend, Dee Man was all about the player development and encouragement).

I was also impressed by the players, Ovingham have a decent list of players and a good strong backbone. If they can get everyone out regularly and learn each others playing styles & strengths they will only get better. I recon they might shock some of the other teams in their Div.

Good luck for the rest of the season guys.

Looking forward to hopefully getting my transfer through and helping out the cats against Port Districts this weekend. I was quiet happy with the way everyone went about their footy last week and hope to be able to contribute and help out the Cats as much as the body will allow me to do this year. :)

has been mentioned a very good hitout on the weekend for us. Forgetting the score I was pleased with how it all went. 21 players with 8-10 missing plus a few more to sign away we will at least be competitve this year...

To have a good half dozen play their first EVER game of footy was great Jd they'll only get better as the year progresses.

Thanks tr the HVFC for the game, we thoroughly enjoyed it and now look forward to season proper and Round 1 V Port Districts!

Up the cats!!!
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Phantom & nuggety will win you more games than not out of the midfield! If you have yourself a quality ruckman and a solid forward option, i think ovies will flog some sides!

The bloke who played CHB would kill it for you blokes in the ruck. Our ruckman gave us first use on most occasions in the trial, not sure that would have been the case had your CHB been in there. He was big and could really jump! Will he play there throughout the season?

He would be worth taking the centre bounce then perhaps move back to CHB and let Jye do around the ground??

You also had some decent size forward targets and Paul Wright will certainly do some damage once he gets in his groove...

quite correct on big fergie, could be playing in higher grades
he hasnt trained for several weeks because of work so just easing him in plus i know what he can do but used the trial to see what others could do
have a good balanced side with still a bit of height to come back this week
was also good to see a new player learn the ruck from an experienced midfield opposition set up

Preferably through the middle sticks :P

Otherwise your forward flank might just go at it alone (still miss though :P)
