Philly down by 6 at 3/4 time against the Hawks. Got 5 guys in double figure points but not Iguodala. Big last quarter from him and they can reel this in.

Philly go on a 25-8 run, and hold on to win by 5. One down, four to go.

I agree. They have beaten them all 3 times this season so far, the Knicks just can't contain Dwight.

I have a small amount on the Magic in case the odds change but it sounds like Orlando could have a few in doubt, Nelson could be out and Reddick won't play at this stage. J Rich also in doubt.

Had a look at Orlando, but I managed to get the Spurs at $1.65 at home to Portland, who are backing up after losing at OKC last night. Spurs are without Duncan, but have still won 28 of their last 29 at home.

Ended up going with that H2H into Chicago -10.5 v Philly.

Have been doing some Betfair trading on the NBA of late....

Today I laid the Bulls at $1.14 and set it up to back them at $1.40 but I forget to change the In Play to KEEP so the bet has cancelled.... Bulls are now over $3 so hoping Philly hold on....

Has been working well and I am making a nice little profit at the moment - I lay teams at the real short odds on quotes ($1.15 or less) and then set it up so it backs them IN PLAY once they get out to $1.30.... so hoping the team they are playing gets a good start basically.

So far I have made a profit on every game, and every game I have done it in the team I have laid to start with end up winning but they always get out to my back price during the game...

You just have to set it up as KEEP IN PLAY because you can bet In Play from Australia.

I will start posting my bets from tomorrow and keep a P/L tally...

The profit will be very slow, but if it is consistent I will start making the units bigger....

Thought about starting my own thread but I'll just go here...

For March 29 Fixtures

Lay Oklahoma City Thunder at $1.17 to win 25 units
Back OKT if they get out to $1.40 for 20 units

Lay Miami Heat at $1.11 to win 82 units
Back MH if they get to $1.35 for 70 units

Total outlay at this stage is 12.74 units... Obviously if the in play backs get matched the outlay will reduce... Hopefully to the stage where my outlay is back and no matter the result it's a profit!!!

See how we go... Need the outsiders tonnage a hood start. Laid two teams at these sort of odds today and both lost... So both alternative bets were matched and unmade an 8 unit profit... From only a 4 unitnoutlay!!

Basically my rules are lay a team at under $1.20 and then back that same side when they get out to between $1.30 and $1.50 to make the profit from either side winning as close to even as possible....

Hopefully turn a consistent profit!!!

Laying is obviously betting against them to win..

If you lay at a lower price and then back the same team at a higher price then you will make a profit.

Like above- inlay at $1.11 and back for $1.35 then I made a .24 unit profit for every dollar I put on...

Obviously the higher your units the more you make... I'm only using $1 units at the moment until I can get a consistentnprofit...
