Depending on which team rocks up on the day Kaurna Eagles will be hard to beat!

Is this the same bloke who played at Greenacres a few years ago?

With Div 8 going to a one team division this year is there any teams from last years div 8 coming into Div7 ??? eg Adelaide Uni, Modbury, Edwardstown, Flinders uni ???

I beleive Western Warriors have folded.

im pretty confident that if unis (flinders) can get the numbers up they will come up and div 7 will be 8 teams, with only clubs As and B grades playing, should be a cracker

Hot Tip Div 7 to only have 7 teams with a Top 4 System.
Flinders Uni still only fielding 1 side hence won't be in Div 7.
TTG and Henley C's and D's to be in Div 8.

Correct about the warriors !!!

@ this stage I think you will find that Adelaide Uni and Edwardstown are more than happy to go up - Modbury maybe to fill the void of the WW.

Uni is not allowed to go up as they have a side in Div 6 and you can't have 2 sides 1 division apart.
Amateur League wants all C's and D's in the same grade being Div 8 hence you will see Edwardstown and Modbury staying in Div 8.

Just found the rules !!!!

34. PROMOTION AND RELEGATION

34.1 Subject to Clauses 34.3 and 34.4 herein the Member Clubs occupying the lowest two positions on the premiership table (other than the premiership table of the lowest Division of The League and the lowest Division of The League with a reserve Division) at the end of the minor round of matches in each Division, not being a reserve Division, shall be relegated to the Division below their current Division in the following season.

34.2 Subject to Clauses 34.3 and 34.4 herein the Member Clubs playing off in the Grand Final in each Division, not being a reserve Division, shall be promoted to the Division above their current Division in the following season.

34.3 No two teams from any one Member Club shall in any one year be in the same Division.

34.4 Either of the Member Clubs playing off in the Grand Final may choose not to be promoted in the following season provided that such an option has not been exercised by that Member Club in the previous season and that a Member Club occupying either of the lowest two positions on the premiership table at the end of the minor round of matches in the Division above the Member Clubs to be promoted chooses to remain in the same Division for the following season provided such Member Club has not exercised this option in the previous season

What would happen then if say Uni in Div 6 got relegated and there was a Uni side in Div 7 who finished 5th?
Wouldn't be fair if the Div 7 side got relegated aswell, which is why the Amateur League want to play safe and avoid this type of scenario happening.
