the man is a star - but he still wont win

Tiger will not win another tournament until he can sort his putting out. His driving is sound, fairway work very good, but the putter is giving him nothing since the "sabbatical".

Very hard to see Rory McIlroy losing from here, but he will have to defy history to become only the 2nd player in the last 26 Masters to win as a first round leader.

Hopefully a couple followed my pre-tournament suggestions of McIlroy at $31 and Jason Day at $101 earlier on in this thread.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

had a little bit on tiger to finish top 5 @ $3.40 today
As for mcIlroy Im not convinced, will be under huge pressure if he drops a shot or 2 early

tiger now equal leader

mcillroy +2 after 5 while tiger is -5 after 8

he has never won a major coming from behind leading into final round but he is playing sublimely

schwarzanegger, dunno havent seen him yet this round

day just had a shocker, made my game look not that bad for a shot or 2

Had to laugh when I saw you fellas getting excited about Mcilroy at odds on....
This is a kid playing a major, looking for his 1st major... four shots is nothing.
Like Al said, drop a few shots early and his collar starts getting awfully tight.

That was the best finish to a major I can remember seeing. That bloody South African did something amazing - earlier in his round he had a looooong chip in and holed a full 8 iron too.

The Aussie Masters curse - will it ever lift? They couldn't have done much more this time.
