Thought it was a great little show, havent really watched it before but pretty impressed, after it did take me about an hour to tune in the station, I thought im gonna watch all of this :D

timer will be set for every thursday to tape the show and then can watch it friday before the footy, stuff better homes and gardens

Ok - just finished taping the first episode - Geez I'm rusty :lol: But will only get better week by week (me and the show that is!)

Catch Grassroots on Channel 44 starring Phil Smyth and Garry McIntosh Thursday night at 8.30pm, with guest SAAFL President Gino Capogreco and I ventured out to the Mitcham FC for a gander - I call my segment "THE FOOTY CHICKS FOOTY TRIP" :lol:

ESP when we can see your legs

Phil you know who i am talking too, other than that good tight show, needs some work, but should be get better as hosts and crew work together more.

probably the worst show to ever grace metropolitan TV. I have seen some very bad country TV shows like the GTS/BKN news and the like but this show just about takes the cake for total lack of knowledge and sheer incompitence.
I would rather listen to 2 old drunks at the footy club talk footy at least they have some insight to what is going on.

It reminds me of a year 10 school kids production.

Gee Phil S has really made it in the big time ;)

The jokes and having a dig at each other are just not funny and just beacuase that DH went to a club for a meal they are the best club in the state....... :roll:

There is no insight into any game, it is just 'they beat them last week so they should beat them this week'. 'Bozo kicked 8 goals and they should win with the home ground advatage!'.

One word sums up the show.... Pathetic!

Hi gang

Can I get some feedback from anyone who watched it tonight on whether the clarity was a bit funny, I've had some messages saying that the show was pixilated right throughout, although we had it on at the club and it was fine,


and YES, I know they stuffed up and played the Athelstone footy trip again...not happy Jan :evil:

Tea Tree Gully will now be on next week followed by Glenunga the week after.
