Agreed, he wasn't laughably mockable once last night. I tried though.

Any claims for the snout's presence are bunkum, they were unheard until time on of the last quarter.

I hope Bass learnt something of use on Friday night.
I hear he was bailed up in the pub after the game by an avid supporter who happens to make his living playing the trumpet.
The fellow in question apparently spent quite a bit of time coaching him in proper breathing techniques that he thought might help the players.
Apparently Bass' eyes glazed over but he didn't walk away or tell the raving drunk to 'disappear', giving the guy his moment to chat.
Gotta love it when you cop a loss and advice on breathing techniques as well!
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

To be fair, it doesn't take much for Bass's eyes to glaze over.

Two quick points:

firstly, who was the Glenelg player who, at the 20min mark of the third quarter, succeeded in hitting both goal posts on the full with the same shot on goal from the Coopers Hill pocket? I've never seen that before!

Secondly - big congrats to Sam Rudolph who had a birthday last Friday and had his first child (Felix) the same day - the same thing happened to me exactly a year ago last Friday as well!

Any word on the unfortunate Redleg who appeared to dislocate his Elbow in the Reserves. Happened on the Scorebaord flank was pretty unlucky dived on ball and looked out as soon as he hit the ground.
