Glenelg sign McConnell

Postby TigerBoss » Mon Jan 16, 2006 1:50 pm

It's official, Glenelg have secured the signature of Justin McConnell, from North Ballarat in the VFL.

McConnell was named in the VFL team of the year in 2005.

An official announcement will be made shortly from the GFC administration.
Is 2009 the year of the Tiger?

Cool, good news for the Bays, let's hope a few more are signed up soon for them. And not to disappoint Tassie, this is good news to us all as the SANFL is only as strong as its weakest link.

I can assure you deep down I don't want to be a Glenelg supporter. But that won't stop me making smartarse comments. Can't think of one though so I'll wish the GFC luck (but not too much) with their new recruit.
We used to be good :-(

If you going to have a crack, at least get it right, every 2nd year, pfft,

Seriously just checked SL.org and it isn't official (i.e official cub statement not out yet) so I'm not going to sew a new number to my duffle coat straight away.......

Pretty sure this is the award Brett Zorzi won the previous year, if he turns out as good as Zorz the Bays will have collected themselves a handy player!
