Club Captain Richard Naylor played his first game since October this morning, in what turned out to be a great move by Simon Grayson. Finally a clean sheet and the defence were rarely troubled besides a 5-10 minute period early on.
We dominated the game and definitely deserved to win. Just couldn't get the goal.
I believe if we play like that for the final three games we'll make the playoffs.
MUST WIN game at Palace in a couple of days.

A draw would have been a better result ;)

Sorry for your mob but dont want those dirty cheating leeds bastards back in EPL

??? :?

Sorry mate grown up hating leeds more than liverpool. They were always filthy dirty players since the revie days. Also had the displeasure of attending elland rd for united v leeds the year after cantona came over. Vile disgraceful crowd topped off by the crowd throwing carboard planes around with "munich" and flames drawn on them. At the end of the game had some old bitch scream out that she wished the whole united squad died on the plane. Ever since that day i wished leeds to be relegated and i dont want them back.

I guess you have a good reason then.
That's pretty poor form from the crowd then :(
IMO Leeds aren't dirty nowadays. They generally play the game in good spirits.

I know all supporters are differerant but most united and leeds supporters have an absolute hatred for each other. Goes back to the war of the roses hatred between the yorkies and lancs

Cardiff had the lead twice and still couldn't win. Not a bad point considering it was against the top side I guess.

Terrific win away at lowly ;) Derby after going 2-1 down at half time. Ward getting sent off and the resulting penalty gave us all the impetus and it was great to see Chris McCann back in league action and scoring the 4th with a 25 yard screamer as we ran out 4-2 winners.

Some pretty healthy draws above us too so we are outside the play offs on goal difference with Pompey at Turf Moor tomorrow and then Leeds away, Cardiff at home to finish.

What are the odds on a Reading v Burnley playoff.

That's 3 straight wins and our form is coming good at the right time. Anything but a win against Pompey and it's still over

Huge result for the clarets. One of the closest finishes to a season in memory in the championship, mathematically still about a dozen clubs fighting for last spots, and still got the QPR fiasco to play yet. Heard that decision is this week and with their form slide in the last couple of weeks a decent point deduction would leave them in strife

As usual the FA have bollocks'd up the QPR fiasco. The Hoops could win promotion before any decision is made. Not sure if the situation concerning Taarbat has changed or not but he continues to play for them and continues to score.

If his current situation is still the same and the FA decide QPR are breaking the rules, WTF do they think Cardiff will do if they don't finish in the top 3 after he twice scored yesterday to deny them victory?

Senario, Cardiff finish 4th, QPR are deducted enough points to deny them automatic promotion and the team finishing 3rd gets the automatic spot. Do you think Cardiff will will start an action against the FA claiming yesterdays draw should be converted to a win. Then everyone else will jump on the same bandwaggon

Agreed, absolute joke. QPR Could be promoted as early as this week, i think the fa was hoping that qpr hadnt got these late season jitters because they are too gutless to make a hard call. They would have hoped qpr finished 10 points clear at top then they could have deducted 9 points and taken soft way out. Now they have cocked it up and this will end up in courts, i think it was in scotland a couple of years ago that they had to do a redraw of program only a week before start of season and i can see this happening here aswell

Leeds are now 9th after losing 1-0 to Palace. Stuck on 66 points.
Forest in 6th. They won 3-2 against Bristol City and are now on 69 points.
Milwall are 7th and Burnley 8th. Both on 67 points.

Must beat Burnley to have ANY chance of 6th spot.

Another late winner for Norwich. Hope they get second spot.

Season over
Forest have Scun.Thorpe and Palace, we have Leeds and Cardiff and the worst goal diff of all the top 10.

Too many missed chances and delivery into the box was poor, not that it would matter as we don't have a quality CF anyway

Well Mr Kilby and Co. No ambition whilst Cardiff were signing Bellamy, Swansea signed Sinclair and Beattie, we signed Iwelumo. We get what we deserve and that will be decades in the lower leagues again.

**** off and let someone one else take over rho is prepared to invest some of the parachute payments before they are all gone

Preston relegated. Sheffield United and **** as good as gone, both 6 away from safety with 2 matches left and both need to catch up about 12 goals. QPR drop more points, still havnt guaranteed promotion

For some reason I still think Leeds can get 6th spot. :?
They would have to rely on results falling their way this weekend to have any chance though.
On Loan Leeds midfielder Ramon Nunez would need to continue his goalscoring form for **** to beat Forest.
Leeds would have to beat Burnley as well as hope that Swansea can get the points at Millwall..

Then on the last day, Leeds travel to QPR.. Surely not!?!?!

Forest should win at Scun.thorpe
Swans don't travel so expect Millwall to beat them
Expect Leeds to turn us over

Leeds win 1-0.
Burnley only had 3 shots for match abd i thought they were a little disappointing and i expected a big 2nd half tonight. Pretty much eliminates Burnley from contention and keeps Leeds alive for another week
