Burnley unlucky not to have a penalty

Agree, Burnley very unlucky not to win a penalty in the first half but Leeds thoroughly deserved the win. A little too late for Leeds. They will need a miracle to make the playoffs. I said it early in the seaon but will say it again, The Championship is probably one of the best leagues in the world to watch. Although my team Leeds, probably wont make the playoffs, courtesy of Fox I have seen a lot of games this year and it is a great comp.

Leeds only side left mathematically possible to make top 6, need to beat QPR and hope Forest lose and in the process overturn a 6 goal deficit.
QPR crowned champions but would be an anxious wait to see if they will stripped of title.
Another team that was in EPL only a few years ago back into football wilderness with Sheffield United conceding an equaliser in last few minutes to be relegated to League 1 at least they will have the Sheffield derby to look forward to next season.

Stonewall penalty.
How can anyone say they deserved to win? Leeds won 1-0 and we had a stonewall penalty not given

Still, all over for this year and another CCC dogfight to look forward to next season. We failed and I blame the board for their lack of ambition. £35m wasted last year, £19m wasted this year

Were we watching the same game? Leeds dominated possession and created plenty more chances. If it wasn't for their keeper Burnley would have lost by more. As I already said, agree it was a penalty, but even if it was given, doesnt guarantee the chance is converted. Therefore, Leeds deserved the win!

Leeds need to build a stronger defence to have a stronger chance for promotion nrxt season. Hopefully Paddy Kisnorbo can return and have the influence he had least season

They wont.
They need to beat QPR and hope forest lose and in process overturn 6 goal differance. Forest picked up an easy 5-1 win which did wonders for their goal differance.

QPR set to be handed their penalty next week only days before playoffs due to start. Increasing rumours of a 15 pt deduction, which would drop them to 5th or 6th. I reckon the FA will go with that to take a hard line approach.
Dont think too many champagne corks were popped at loftus rd last nite, but think Norwich and Cardiff would be having a quiet chuckle

we had some pretty nasty and tough games out there at elland rd in the early 2000-2004 (whenever they were relegated). When viduka was running around out there with harry kewell they were a force. And the fans tend to get behind them more then most which helps them.

Agree that it should have been a penalty. Poor from O'Brien in that case.
I have no idea why the Burnley player didn't get send off for that 'challenge' on Max Gradel..
McCormack finally got a run. First time i've really seen him. I was impressed. Some much needed pace upfront.
Alot of people have been harsh on Grayson for some of his changes to the team of late, but dropping Snodgrass back to the bench for McCormack was a good move on his behalf.
Hopefully we can sort out the defence next season. Kisnorbo is out of contract, but is almost back training with the first team, which is a great sign. I really hope we re-sign him.
What we badly need IMO is a holding midfielder.
It's Somma Time!

Knowing the gimps we have running the game here, QPR will either get a hefty fine as the FA bottle it, or they will be dumped into the play off's with Norwich and Cardiff sealing the two automatic spots.

It is a bit ominous that the decision is being announced prior to the play off's which would suggest some sort of points deduction

QPR broke the rules and need to be punished, they should be thankful they are up the top and not in danger of relegation.

Big game for Cardiff tonight, need to beat Boro at home. Hopefully Pompey can get a point against Norwich but I don't expect much from them.

The last thing we want is 2 welsh clubs in the EPL, although it would be funny to watch them go straight back down

I didn't realise you were English Jim.

Why would you care if two Welsh clubs were good enough to gain promotion to the EPL anyway?

Not english guys but the welsh supporters and crowd have had a bad rap for years. Went to a couple of cardiff home games as a neutral and the crowd was fairly hardcore, maybe they have cleaned up their act a bit.
And NO definately dont want the 2 old scum teams in EPL, if you read the other posts im a mad Aberdeen supporter and despise both Rangers and Celtic.
By the way not a fan of Welsh clubs playing in English leagues when they have their own league.

Most definately not but the welsh do have a massive inferiority complex against their big brothers :D
FWIW Cardiff have a good squad and with a couple of additions could stay up but swansea on the other hand are quite ordinary and could see them cop some massive beltings
