No one wants this one?

Vanilla Ice - Ice, Ice Baby.

I'll try another....

You are a little mystery baby
Every time you come around
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

"We talk about it all night long
We define our moral ground
But when I crawl into your arms
Everything comes tumbling down

Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down"

The Ship Song by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Too easy for a disciple of the Cave-man like myself DW!

My turn....

I like your stories
I love your gun
Shooting out cop tyres
Sounds like loads and loads of fun
"They got Burton suits, ha, you think it's funny, turning rebellion into money"

I had The Good Son on this morning.
Many of those songs particularly The Weeping Song suited my mood.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Here's one, inspired by a stage show I saw Saturday night.

I got the moon I got the cheese
I got the whole damn nation on their knees
I got the rooster I got the crow
I got the ebb I got the flow
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Takes more than a message to make me smile
I can feel when she kisses me sleeping -
But not when the news is on."

"Sittin' on a mountain, looking at the sun
Plastic fantastic lobster telephone
Drive on baby, through the electric night
All the way sister, in the taxi of life"

Electric was an album by The Cult but not familiar enough with the work to recognise the song (it ain't "Love Removal Machine" or "Wildflower" - the only ones I know  )

Someone better shoot me before it's too late
I wanna be impaled on a fifty foot stake
My V.U. meter's in the overload
I think my aorta is gonna explode.

Very easy one for me. But then again I am old fart.
