I didn't notice that ? Iam certain that happenned later ?He was rucking to start the game I thought as well ? Regardless he did well and Sturt just kept putting it up to him. I think Paul Thomas learnt a lesson , not to take on Cubillo . Thomas went to bump Cubillo but Cubillo put him on his bum , great bump . But that is where it ended and Thomas taught a few of the younger Sturt guys a lesson IMO ,he is all class and hopefully some young Sturt players watch him closely . Great player.

Yes, as soon as I said that on air I cringed, it was just a throw away line but not the best choice of wording was it...

I apologise if I offended anyone (or any computers out there) with the comment, will pay a little more care next time...

Yep he was rucking and then dropping a kick behind play, you probably wouldnt have noticed him because he wasnt even making the contests and was way to Duldig consicous.

Rumour around is that Boyds shoulder isnt as serious as first thought and he maybe back in a couple of weeks. Also great to see the Chad go very well in the ressies.

Just had a look at the stas M.Westoff only had 4 possies and 1 tackles i thought he was alot better than that.

Central - L.Spurr, P.Thomas, T.Goodrem, K.Jenner, E.Sansbury, J.Sutherland, A.Obst, L.Barmby, D.Havelberg

Sturt - T.Gum, A.Riley, L.Crane, A.Thomson, J.Anderson, J.Sheedy, T.Bartlett, A.Kurtze

Funny how people see things .Bartlett's first league game and has a way to go and Riley was very ordinary and most of us were saying how poorly he played and I thought Thomson was quiet after half time.

That's cool, it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I just liked some of the effort and 1%'ers I saw from these blokes, hence the reason I listed them.

Who were your 5 best players for Sturt HOORAY PUNT ? - Genuine question, I am interested in your thoughts on your better players, not being a smart @rse or anything.

Rileys 1% rs are superb Phil no doubt and I also like that about his game but he usually does them and get the ball ,he didn't seem to get the ball today. My best for Sturt were Gum ,Sheeds ,Duldig was OK with 5 and gave off a couple and used his body well ( wouldn't be hard!!) Crane , Anderson however he does hang on to it a bit long at times and I thought Cubillo was good ( I know that's 6 !!)

Don't know, but was good acknowledgement of his career at Unley from the Sturt FC to see Chambo at the game tossing the coin today, well done.

I think he sat with some of the Central boys not playing

I saw Sandy Nelson there today selling his merchandise, maybe Bello said hello to Nello?

I don't think Chambo tossed the coin..

As for Bello, what could he say to Madness except "Thanks for making me look like a complete dill in the '02 GF"
"And look at John Halbert"
" His whiskers have curled."
