I got plenty of money mate, I live in Norwood (just thought I'd throw that one in for The Sleeping Giant ;) )

As nice as Sandy's merchandise is HP, I'd have no need for anything in baby blue at the moment, or ever, thanks mate ;)

Back to the topic at hand, I wanted to commend the ressies game as well, it was a fantastic, free flowing and high scoring game of footy to watch. Well done Sturt there.

Did he go and say "hello" to Chambo?

Don't know, but was good acknowledgement of his career at Unley from the Sturt FC to see Chambo at the game tossing the coin today, well done.

I don't think Chambo tossed the coin..

As for Bello, what could he say to Madness except "Thanks for making me look like a complete dill in the '02 GF"

Not sure, I do know he went out into the middle with a Sturt official (and someone else) when the coin toss occurred, I must confess I did not see who did the actual tossing* ?

I don't think Bello would have been too fussed with his 'dill status' for the one occassion, he shone plenty of other times on the first Sunday in October.

HP, he was pretty good once again for the Double Blues. He has been amongst the best in the 2's for the last few weeks and has been very close to league selection a few times.

To his credit, even when he misses out on playing league, he has gone back to the reserves with the right attitude, at least in 3 of the last 4 Sturt reserves games I've seen him play.

Today, at times, he looked the class above reserves football, seemed to have that little bit of extra time and space. Showed some good evasive skills at times as well when up forward.

I'm not sure on his final posession count (the SANFL website hasn't put them up as yet) but at a guess, I'd say he would have had about 20 playing midfield and half forward.

He ended up kicking a really nice goal in the last quarter that sparked the Double Blues 2's to take the win, but he did finish the game with the 1.3 so perhaps goal kicking needs work.

Thanks , I think he should be given a chance now . He has a lot of ability evident by AFL scouts circling before his knee injury . When K Sheedy went to watch Gibbs at Glenlg V Sturt he walked away more impressed with Hurley than Gibbs apparantly.

Yep he was out there but I think someone else flipped the coin ,might have been a kid. Certain Chambo didn't.Knowing Chambo he probaly said he didn't want to do it ,let a kid do it.
