Most season's we finish well and would expect to be around the money the following season .. We are assembling a better squad and playing better football, but I still refuse to have any level of expectation.

Just watched the highlights .. Geez Schwartze gave us a helping hand with at least 2 of them, but great to see us breaking free of the scoring shackles.

Sidwell's looked the pick of the goals though.

Maxi is finally starting to produce, it has taken him long enough, but he was a pretty decent player before joining Liverpool.

Liverpool do look the goods now but it will be interesting to see how they go next season when they play meaningful games again, I know Liverpool are chasing Europe but Fulham have nothing to play for. Only a matter of time until Gerrard declares that next year will be Liverpool's year.

rome wasnt built in a day ;) but look at all players that come over they take a while to gel. Hell C ronaldo took nearly a year to gel. In this time he should have been an olympic diver :D

Shitty win 1-0. Spurs played them off the park and even scored the only goal of the match!!!
They are now only 2 pts behind Arsenal in battle for auto CL qualification.
Spurs miss on CL, and now have a game against liverpool for europa league spot.
City will never win EPL with Mancini in charge, typical Italian managed rubbish, go 1 up and park the bus, they are easily the most boring team to watch in EPL.

Last season Peter Crouch scored a goal FOR Spurs against City to effectively seal their Champions League spot.

This time he scores an own goal to basically seal it for City. Funny stuff.

if the rumours are true and man shitty having 300 million to spend on players this transfer then the EPL wont be worth much in the next few years. Who can compete with that??

Obviously very good businessmen, as you said they are not billionaires by accident. But what they know about football could be written on one of their $100 notes.
Seriously not worried because i have no doubt we will head down same path when the Glazers have had enough. And we have far more appeal for a buyer than a crappy football side that plays in a mediocre stadium and wears baby shit blue strips!!

When you control 40% of the worlds oil reserves and charge $95 a barrel for the 1.2m barrels a day the cost you only $6 a barrel to produce, you'd be a billionaire Bully. I don't think business acumen has much to do with it . Luck being in the right place at the right time, now that's another thing ;)

Not even we can compete with that, also besides the torres transfer thats the first time we have spent big in like 4-5 seasons, roman has basicly closed the cheque book, but I dont care, I can remember having no money and where finishing mid table was a good result for us and for the first time since the mid 60's we have a decent youth team that could go on to be long time chelsea players(if we bother to play them) btw that 60's youth team involed - osgood, venables, bonetti, webb, harris, tambling etc they won the 1965 league cup, 70 fa cup and 71 cup winners cup (against real madrid)
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas
