Looking at the weekend's country footy results it would appear that Mr Kite found Torrens Valley to be a pleasant spot on his way 'back to Victoria'.

he probably shouldnt have been playing cricket over summer if he had a stress fracture in his foot!!! :roll: especially seeing as the eagles probably flipped the bill for it! :shock:

im sure he'll go back too VIC and earn too much coin playing some amatuer level of footy.

There was an Aaron Kite playing for Central Districts too - think it is him. The Eagles Kite has gone home to play for Glenroy in Victoria I am led to believe.

Yeah, the Aaron Kite you speak about played Underage for the Dogs and a season of reserves I reckon back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I think he played at Elizabeth as well.

The clearance is 2011, not 2001. Unless this other Aaron Kite was listed with Centrals last season then it's not him.

But let's face it. "Family reasons" is the excuse people put up when they don't want to have their reasoning questioned. The reality could well just be he wanted out of the Eagles to go play for more money, or less training, or to be a big fish in a little pond, or a combination of all 3. Could also be the club wanting to save face by not wanting to admit a player wasn't happy there. Wouldn't be the first time it's happened in the SANFL (remember Jarman telling the world Perrie was just done with footy?) and probably won't be the last.
