Long long ago when the Dreamtime first began, the Kaurna people roamed the area of the Adelaide Plains and
gathered around the Torrens, Onkaparinga and Sturt Rivers, creating stories, songs and dances that echoed
every occasion: dances that celebrate the spirituality of the land and its legends. Today the descendants of the
Kaurna people will bring their magic to Blair Athol Reserve to highlight a tradition thousands of years old…..

· Come and see the special Guernsey to be worn
by the Kilburn Football club
· Taste some traditional food
· Join and meet some local council and state politicians
· Information on the Kaurna People, find out who these people are,
where they lived, what they ate
· Recognise and acknowledge some traditional Kaurna elders
· Past and Present legends of the Kilburn Football club will be
attending
Kilburn Juniors Colts to be played before the main game.
