Probably not a good idea to wear a Laura Branigan t-shirt into a nightclub either mate.

Licence reissue usually take 2 weeks based on prior experience of others in our household. 2 Saturdays with no Town at least.

Two weeks?

License reissue takes about 20 minutes max through the RTA. Depends on the line. Just hand it back over the counter.

Going back to the late-90s here...

On one of the many occasions I've misplaced my license, I used a mate's license for ID. We look absolutely nothing like each other. To make it worse, he had a shaved head in his licese photo.

Handed the license to the bouncer on the door at Joplin's. He studied the license. He studied me.

"This doesn't look like you", he said.
"That was when I was in the army," I said.
"No worries. Have a good night."
"Thanks, mate!"

We have a winner!

Just buy a couple of slabs and get your mates to come to you.

Heres a tip. If after a big weekend where u managed to lose ur licence and wallet in the 1st place, how bout a weekend in? Not desperatly tryin to get ID to go out again! Sheesh kids these days..i dunno

I remember back in my day we used our Craigmore HS Student ID cards to get into the Village on thursday nights circa 1997, you could rub off the date of birth with a pen erasor and a lad at school found some printed stencils with the tiny numbers, worked a treat :D

Got my 1st backseat action becoz of one of those IDs ;)

you can do what one of my mates did at the gully one night after footy presentations, not a word of a lie.

he cut out the photo of someones ID and when he went to the bouncer and they asked for his ID, he held the card to his face from a distance so it looked like his face was in the cutout.

fuggin classic!! even the bouncer laughed

School never exsisted on a Friday for me or half of Craigmore High as most of us had only just got back from the vil a couple of hours before school started.

Ahhhhhh the old spillage.
Gold memories.
Remember a night when we were getting hassled by a bunch of blokes and former EFC player Richard Marr stepped over and made sure they left us alone. One of those classic occasions.

Let me guess, the bouncer knew you were not of age and told you that if you wanted to get in, you'd need to show him how much you wanted it.....
