With no radio broadcast of the South v Sturt game on Saturday night your best coverage will be right here on safooty.net.
LifeFM's David Kempe will be at the game blogging live on this site.

This year seems to be the first that a game is not broadcast regulary yet it is also the year where games are more spread out so why the change ?

The broadcasts only bother me if Sturt have a bye as I enjoy listening to other games or getting scores .

LifeFM are calling the North v Norwood game today from Prospect, the line has been fixed and tested during the week.

That being said, the boys from RPH were at Richmond to call last night (the line had been tested Wednesday and worked) and then last night for West v Glenelg, Chris Kendall, Michael Maney and Neil Cross had to call the game on the mobile phone.

So YES, the game at Prosepct will be called today by the LifeFM crew, provided everything works when they get there.

The ABC game callers last night during the West v Glenelg game (one in particular) were out of their comfort zone at SANFL level, unable to identify a player by name for 30-second stretches at a time, until Cornes or Moran or Hitchcock became involved. Very disappointing use of a very clear and strong signal.

Seems odd doesn't it. You would think the media would try to cover every game if possible.

Not too far.

Some are no brainers as they are the ONLY game in a Saturday Afternoon time slot ... ie this weeks Eagles v West match.

Currently waiting allocation of TV / Radio for Rd's 9-12 ... should be due out in next couple of days.

Cheers Phil, trying to convince the boss to go with coloured 50m arcs, even if its just for tv games. Doesn't look like we would get 1 in rounds 9-12

July 2nd - Port v Pathers @ Alberton is the only Saturday Afternoon game scheduled so you are sure to be on ABC TV that week.
