From 89.9 to 85.6- my first loss since this started, so not before time...

4.3kg is not a bad effort in a month IMO, but seeing as though it came about as a result of being too crook to eat for a week and a half, and chucking up stomach acid, it's not a weight loss technique I would recommend...

FWIW, footy training starts for me this week (even though I said that 2 months ago), so I'm looking forward to losing some excess baggage the right way!

Absolutely.

Struck down with the flu recently and it killed me not to go for my nightly run until I shook it.

Pretty much did the same as you maxy. Diet adjustment, portion control, exercise. Makes you wonder if, for some people, the gym is comfort food.

Reakon motivation to lose weight - to really want to shed that baggage - was probably the most telling factor.

It's what made me go on those runs when I didn't want to and not buy takeway when I couldn't be stuffed cooking something healthy and...

I'll miss posting for June, as I'll be in the UK but not sure exactly where at that stage - possibly Cornwall.
I'm planning to hire a car and use Travelodge Motels for that part of the trip.
I'm not carrying any Internet capable device on the trip.

I got the menu from a mate who was doing so I didn't need to pay the money. It did work for me but made me feel very lethargic and low on energy.
Did lose a bit of weight doing it though. I have modified a bit for myself now and it is going ok.

I have read the last couple of pages and heard idfferent peoples views on dieting, what i'm about to say might have been bought up in previous pages that I didn't read, so sorry if i'm repeating what someone has already said.

Firstly if it says it's 99% fat free it doesn't mean it's healthy. The 2 biggest weight gainers is sugar and carbs. There is 5 things you need to do to loose fat (yes fat not weight).
Up your protein intake
Make sure your body is getting the calaroies it needs for the day
Cut down your carbs and sugar, it is impossible to cut them out all together but try to keep them low as possible especially sugar
Cardio and weights and yes weights are just as important as cardio.
Most people have 3 meals a day try and make it 6 meals a day, in saying this I don't mean have 6 big meals, even if your meal between breakfeast and lunch is a small can of tuna. It will help with your metabolism.

I do take supplements but I would recommened anyone thinking of taking any supplements to do research before buy any and not just on the supplement itself but the brand you are looking at getting as there is some I would stay clear of. i take a protein shake after I workout as the time I workout it's the best and easiest way of getting protein in to me after a workout. I also take a multi vitamin once a day.

Also a little tip to those guys that feel like there eating too much each meal because they still feel hungry, try drinking a litre of water before you eat.
We're on this journey together, One Heart, One Club and they will Never Ever Tear Us Apart.

Down to my lightest in 6 years.

91.5 kg want to get down below 90 kg in four weeks.

How?
1. Cutting back on what I eat (snacks)
2. Increasing my carb intake as a percentage of my totally daily energy intake - fruit, veg, breads, pasta etc
3. maintaining my energy output (exercse)

Biggest myth going around that to lose weight you have to cut back on carbs. As the lowest of the three major food groups interms of energy density (carbs, protein and fat) the one food group you can keep eating is carbs.

Want to lose weight? Keep your mouth shut eat less) and exercise more. Simple really.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
