Your Inner Dag

Postby CK » Sun May 22, 2011 11:29 am

Most of us have a few things in our lives that we probably consider daggy in many ways, whether they be music tastes, TV shows, things we wear on occasion or other little traits. Thought it worth opening the floor to see what are some of the things other posters have in the "Dag Box".

Probably won't surprise many of my mates to learn that, usually on the way to footy on a Saturday (mine is generally a fairly long drive from home), the car CD player has "The Classic Collection" from Little River Band going  :) . I've heard nearly all of the jokes before, and it won't change things.

Release your inner dag, folks....
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Quite fond of Suspicious Minds, myself. Do ( vaguely ;) ) recall doing a very, very good version of it in the old Charles Sturt draped ever so seductively over a table to entertain some ladies out enjoying a Hens Night.

I was watching Music Max on Saturday morning and they had the 500 hottest 80's songs or something like that. Next thing I know, I'm singing along to Ashford and Simpson's Solid as a Rock. My daughter thought I had gone loopy. Worst thing was, I didn't even realise I was doing it until she had a go at me.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I have (for when I am on holidays) a flannelette shirt for every day of the week... And I wear them in public...

My iPod is full of Garth Brooks and George Strait...

I sing The Gambler at any function with beer and a microphone...

I overuse the word "trendy..."

My mates go to the pub in trendy shirts and ripped jeans... I wear track pants, ugg boots, and my old school hoody..

My only singlet has a slogan "Up The Bum No Babys..." I didn't misspell that either!

This is only a select few.
