On a serious note, well done on bringing your club into a season of verbal onslaught from all who take the field against you. Brave side the CLG, very brave.

Are any of them related to the players?

very mature for people to give us shit for pioneering the idea in the saafl, we dont really care mate, cheerleaders bring people to the club, they use our canteen, our bar, buy dinner that night...that brings $$$ to the club, the colonel light of old is gone, we are a very very professional unit, and very disinplined

Heres fuel to add to ur fire guys. I heard from a reliable source that the cheerleaders were given a pretty hefty amount of money to do there gig at CLG to buy whatever the hell cheerleaders buy etc., the main cheerleader is the girlfriend of the recruit they have from cove.

They did the cheerleading for cove fc last year, they would all be between 19 - 15 years old i reckon.

So much scottroo, for making money for the club, when u have lost money paying them to go there. Whats next if Div. 7 clubs are recruiting cheerleaders????

Also the discipline of your club will drop ten fold the moment harvey sets foot on the ground, the kid has serious problems.

The Cheerleaders will do a good job, They were great last year for Cove.

As for Harvey he will prob. win the medal if he does not get suspended. No full forward will kick a goal on him. I will tip he kicks 20-30 goals this year from full back!!!

I agree - well done to you sir, you lead me in nicely!

If you boys read the SFL thread you'll notice that bunch believe themselves to be the strongest country league in SA, this being said Cove were undefeated till there wheels fell off close to finals. I reckon the CLG new recurit will rock some boats for sure but boys stepping back from there you'd expect him to be a little more versatile than full back. Play a skinny running forward on him and he's screwed, he is not quick (from what I have seen) but loves a wrestle, run him around for a half and game over. Either that or put your biggest bloke on him and then avoid that avenue to goal at all costs. Different story if CLG push him forward though...

Bugger this, Im getting to serious for a Friday arvo. Im off to the Tav for a beer soon boys but before I go
