Yeah won AFL 1 week then out the next round, also won through to a weekend cash tournament but i was at the footy all day, so i just put the $1000 on a longer shot in the hope it would get up, no luck tho.

finished 5th at Dubbo today but was still a reasonable distance from the winner, probably bet to conservative to win these things but its a good time killer and im using it as a tool to see if i was to gamble more often how successful i would be or if i would just be doing my hard earnt

i think it would be good if they had 2 comps

1) to bet all meeting long, reinvesting and collects

2) just $1000 to invest over the meeting

that would then cater for people who are able to punt all through a meeting and those that are unable too.

I've won cash tournaments before.... but never won the Free ones with cash on the end of them... I've won qualifiers before but never the main event...

FWIW I like the idea as well, but not sure it will get through.... I don't think one hit wonders is the whole idea Although I guess by the fact you can enter before the last race and win maybe it is...

but how about a max of $200 per race

that somewhat eliminates the one hit wonders - good luck to those who can do it 5 or 6 times a meeting

Yep, sounds like it might be the go... Rather than allocated $1000 for the meeting, allocate $200 per race that has to be spent...

quick question with the AFL tournys..........

i won Friday nights tourny for the Melb v Carl game, winning me entry into the $2 Qualifing r11, so i assume that means it's pointless me entering any other free tournys coz the winners prize would be the same, and they wouldnt give me 2 free entries into the same $2 tourny for the next round?

i thought that might be the case, unless they give the free entry to whoever comes second. from now on i just wont enter any more tournys if i've already won one for the weekend.

also, from referring my brothers, i've got $20 "Tournament Dollars" and have won $4.50. my understanding is that my "Account Balance" is cash i can withdraw whenever i want? and is the "Tournament Dollars" money i have to spend on entering tournaments? so if i got 11 referrals, therefore $110 worth of TD, i could enter the AFL Grand Final tourny with those Tournament Dollars? so i would essentially be entering a $110 tourny for free?

Yes you can withdraw the cash at any time..... You can also use cash to enter tournaments - its just that tournament dollars get used first when entering....

Yes, if you get 11 referals you can effectively enter the Grand Final Tournament for free.... But I imagine there will be a hell of a lot of people in the GF tournaments....

I won a private VAAL tournament last night - $5 entry fee and I won $25....

There is a group on facebook that runs tournaments - both free and $5 entry - winner takes all.... Is a good way to win some cash with a small number of entries.....
