Well when u have 7-9 players out of the league side. Then more injuries in the reserves im sure the U18's will be weakened.
What he said, or if you have a spare half hour, read my post above
Cheers guys, ive seen a heap of our guys matches this year and we he been fairly ordinary in most games so i thought that must be the reason.

This, coming from the same group of supporters who thought it was so funny that Simoin Phillips had his jaw broken last year.
Did Hayes cop one behind play? A bit different to Simion Phillips getting his jaw busted whilst the ball was in the immediate vicinity, this has been done to death, he was not found guilty so move on....or shall We keep harping on about Macca's cowardly attack on Dew all those years ago? It's pointless. Get over it.
No he was on the lead and the next thing the hammy went TWANG!!! looked like he had been snipered by someone in the crowd. It was about 2 seconds before the ball got to him.

The one where Dew squealed like a little pig and then "dobbed" at the Tribunal to cost Macca a Premiership??? Fat Mongrel.

yeah, that one. Dew asked for it too, how dare He lie there at the bottom of the pack, slamming His jaw into Macca's fist! Macca got his premiership, after all, isn't the team greater than the individual?

Moronic. Even though it was off the ball, it was on camera. Can't believe I got sucked in to replying to such a stupid post.

Yes!
With a big number of fans having amateur football commitments on Saturday afternoon, it's no wonder the crowd was only around 4K.

Insert post here with quotes from the last 2 years from Norwood supporters who have had something to say about Centrals (supposedly!) poor home attendance figures...blah can't be bothered!
If plan A makes you 7 goals down during a Grand Final and plan B causes you come back from that far and hit the lead, don't listen to a certain assistant coach if he says to you to go back to plan A!

How does the final siren go while the umpire has called time off?
Yesterday wasnt the first time i have seen that happen, IIRC it may have also happened in last years GF.
I dont get it?
Not the first time the siren has sounded at an odd time at Norwood oval when Norwood is leading in a close one, I remember a 24 minute last quarter a few years ago when Norwood were only up by a point or two.
When you watch the footage from yesterday there is a fair 3 second gap between when the umpire calls for time off and when the siren sounds, Neil Cross picked up on it and said it was rather interesting.
''I can't think back to a time where Australia have been so convincingly beaten'' - Mark Taylor in regards to the 2010/11 Ashes series.
I understand where CP's coming from. I expected Norwood to win this game and when they came from 15 pts. down to get 22 up they should've gone on and won by 5 or 6 goals. That they didn't should give no-one any confidence that they could possibly knock off the Dogs in October.
I can see I'll have to pin my hopes on the league's most exciting side, North, with a hat trick of winnable home games coming up, to rip up the competition and give Centrals something to think about in the GF.

Just what are you inferring there? Thought BOTH sides had someone on timekeeping duties

No way was there 3 seconds between the umpire blowing his whistle and the siren. At most, there was only a 1 second gap. Neil Cross made no mention of 3 second gap only that ump blew his whistle and the the siren sounded. The siren would have sounded anyway the moment the ump signaled time back on so there would have been no time for the Doggies to score. There was a whistle 6 second prior to the last whistle heard (1 second before the siren) and the camera was on Bass so the vision wasn't on the ump so the whistle 6 seconds prior to the siren could have been signally time stop and then the second (one second before siren) which was time for play to resume. Either way, no time for the Doggies to score.
