Yeah, Josh Glenn, that's it! I knew he had the same last name as a past player from the 80s.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

I however should worry less about Unley and more about my own club

Good game of footy on Saturday, Westminster took it up to us, clogged the game up a lot in the first quarter and kicked the first two, we got one back before 1/4 time. A lot of the same in the second quarter, plenty of stoppages, we managed to kicked three for the quarter though and led four goals to 2 at half time. Third quarter we managed to break it open and play some better footy, kicked six goals to none and led by eight goals at 3/4 time. Last quarter was pretty attacking on both ends, Woods kicked a couple early but we still managed 8 goals to four for the quarter and didn't let it completely fizzle out which was pleasing.

Westminster are definitely a better side than where they're sitting. Allen was best for them before going off injured, Newman was excellent, and you can definitely tell C Chubb has played a high level of football, used his body really well all day. Thought Wigg was really good down back too. I'm fairly confident they wont be in Div 5 next year, and cheers to OE and all the lads for coming in for some beers afterward.

I agree pag. Thought our 1st half was very competitive. After half time we couldnt or wouldnt cover the spread. You guys are very very even across the park. Was good to have a sherbert or two with your mob. If salisbury can stay injury free they will be there in the last game. Then again there B grade is outstanding

And your point is??????

My opinion and my pick has no bearing on how the club performs on a Saturday .... because my opinion and pick costs $0 ... perhaps not so with what performances or opinions cost the club ...??? go figure...

Kilburn and Unley playing a triple header at Blair Athol reserve today. C grade start at 10.30. Should be a great day. Will test Kilburn to see if they can continue recent good form.

Pretty good game at Hicks Park yesterday with Pultney leading for most of the day, half way through the last 1/4 they were over 4 goals in front and suddenly someone flicked the switch on the Dragons and away they went to get over the line by 4pts.

Very good effort by the boys so with the weeks break and something like 14 players to return for round 10 we should be in good shape to have a dip in the second half of the year.

Would also like to thank the 2 Pultney boys who came back for a beer after the game ...not sure why more didnt come back...perhaps they had a funeral to attend???

I picked it last week mate, then I saw Allen didn't get up and Switala was in for them and I backed away... should've known better. Congrats though, well deserved.

On our game, we controlled the game for probably 3 and 1/2 quarters. Got out to an 8 goal lead in the second quarter, then fell asleep for the 5-10 minutes before half-time and Fitzory kicked four goals in a row to get it back to four goals at half-time. Another good third quarter set-it back up and went on with it in the last.

Couple of interesting points though, our team manager had the last quarter going for 19 minutes when the siren went (he wasn't the official timekeeper, and it didn't really matter that much, but aren't the quarters are 20 mins plus time-on), and when we went back into the Fitzroy rooms for a drink, their officials bought us a couple of jugs which was appreciated, but no players anywhere? Good luck to them though, seem like a good bunch of people.
