Definitely soft and runny, can put up with the somewhere in between (Soft & Sticky)
I would rather have some of the white not quite set than have a a hard yoke.

id prefer soft to hard...
i love poached eggs tho.. eggs benedict are my fav.
i have a craving for them now

I can't believe how people like them runny, might as well as go around sucking the embryo out of random pregnant animals.

I selected hard and firm.... and then read the question was about yolks. In that case I prefer them inbetween the two.

toast topped with baby spinach, a piece of short cut bacon, fried tomato finished with a runny poached egg and of course cracked black pepper.
