SAT 24/02/07
GRAND JUNCTION ROAD
HEADING EAST PASSING YATALA JAIL

THE CAR IN FRONT OF US THREW HIS CIGARETTE OUT OF HIS CAR
It landed just in front of us.
Well done an isolated case of a moronic smoker littering out city.

DETAILS
REGO. XXM 272
GREEN HOLDEN COMMODORE
about 60 with grey hair.

Not all smokers are blatantly so moronic, but he is.

Agreed, even when I was a smoker, smokers who but their cigarettes outside of their window or throw their "live" butts out the window shitted me to tears.
FFS that's what an ashtray is for and if you haven't got one pull over for a friggin smoke.
Chewing gums more annoying in the streets though.

Found this quite interesting in the context of this debate. The only bastion of support left is the health system...

Globe Derby
Lawns littered with, you guessed it cigarete butts.
If you take the family down there, suggest you take a blanket to sit on.

not all smokers dispose of their butts so carelessly. its just some d**kheads that cant be bothered.

when i smoked, i was always conscious to stub my butt out on the ground, then throw it in the bin, or search for an ash tray or something.

last year @ wildeloo (a local music festival), the camping grounds were located on an empty paddock, which was covered in dried straw. the amount of spot fire the CFS had to put out as a result of people throwing their live butts on the ground was ridiculous. i mean..how hard is it to stomp on it a couple of times?

Yeah, thanks Pseudo.
That's the point I was trying oh so hard to make, but the three blind monkeys syndrome is winning this thread hands down.

I'm sure they do, but don't we all.
I'ts just a shitload harder for them to break the cycle without the financial support.
