I hope that is incorrect. I think the new president and football department have done a good job to turn them around from where they were last year and having played alot of footy for them over the years would hate to see them taken over by another sporting code.

The only place Kilburn is going is up. People who keep bringing up shjt like that should have a look at themselves. This same styory has been doing the rounds for years. Yes Kilburn has a problem with cricket (mostly students, Indians, and Pakistanis) none of whom drink, spend money at the Club or in other cases pay their subs and Cricket is the most expensive sport in the world (with turf wickets). Bottom line Kilburn going nowhere, reviewing Cricket situation.

That was always the issue. We had players pay more of there subs this year then in the past 5 years. But a lot of foreign players where drinking is against there beliefs and there culture. And a bunch of others who didn't wanna go back to the club. We didn't have any students but. It was my weekly battle getting players in the club but as hard as I tried it was hard to get the support of the cricket group. With applications for the coming season due end of month it seems highly unlikely there will be cricket there next season well turf for that matter any way. But as I said doing well through football season and can Only hope it gets stronger.

Great that Fitzroy wanna buy new oval lights, dunno what 50 grand is gonna buy.

Anyway, they should spend their cash on resurfacing the oval out there and making it flat.

The place is like Mt.Enfield out there

The full back could bomb a long bomb to the centre line and the ball could roll down the hill for goal lol.

Not a swipe, just like to getting the best out of what u got.

We had a triple header against them last round. Not sure why they wouldn't want to (if they have knocked you back as you seem to be implying). on a side note, their facilities are very impressive, great oval and set up.

heccies by a point in the A grade! scored n siren went. think salisbury scored 3 goals in last the quarter in a row, heccies scored 3 in a row, salisbury scored 2 in a row then heccies scored the winner. unlucky to salisbury. great game.
