But he wanted to leave, not the other way round. He has been wanting to leave for a while. Tevez next to go, they still havnt signed anyone and the big names being linked to them will all go elsewhere for less. Mancini will be gone within 3 months if they dont get results early. Yeah same old City

Inter president has now stated that he wants to cash in on Sneijder. Asking price of £35 mill, he should be our main priority and we should do whatever it takes to get him.

QPR's Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt claims both Chelsea and Arsenal have been in contact over a potential summer transfer.

Porto's highly-rated coach Andre Villas-Boas is set to succeed Carlo Ancelotti as coach of Chelsea, according to Portuguese news agency Lusa.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp will buy "one or two" big players to try to keep Luka Modric at White Hart Lane.

Former Newcastle striker Micky Quinn says Arsenal have enquired about the availability of midfielder Joey Barton.

However, Arsenal legend Ray Parlour says Scott Parker should be signed for the Gunners instead.

Barcelona are considering selling striker David Villa to Chelsea in order to fund the purchase of Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

Manchester United are said to be interested in purchasing QPR playmaker Adel Taarabt.

New Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish wants to sign goalkeeper Ben Foster and defender Scott Dann from his old club Birmingham.

McLeish is also keen to battle it out with Manchester United and Liverpool for Blackpool's £12m-rated midfielder Charlie Adam.

Scotland's Stephen Crainey has rejected a new contract at Blackpool and is instead looking to join Wigan.

Norwich have made a £1.75m bid for Huddersfield winger Anthony Pilkington.

Manchester United are expected to tie up a £17m deal for Aston Villa and England midfielder Ashley Young this week.

Lassana Diarra has been told he can leave Real Madrid and is in talks with Manchester United.

Wolves are keen to move for Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky. The 30-year old would cost about £3.5m but is also attracting interest from Portsmouth.

West Brom target Derek Boateng has turned down a move to Ukrainian side Dnipro but the Baggies are still some way short of meeting Getafe's £7m asking price for the Ghana international.

Gabriel Obertan has been put up for sale by Manchester United. The 22-year-old Frenchman signed for £3m two years ago but only made four starts last season.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle is planning a £400,000 bid to his former club Burnley for full-back Tyrone Mears.

Birmingham City are considering former Blackburn boss Paul Ince as a possible new manager.

He is a very, very ordinary player and I cant see him adding anything other than more poor discipline to Arsenal. Big step backwards if the gunners are even thinking of him, far better options out there

I dont get this signing, Nani and Valencia are much better options for Left and Right.

Young can play in the middle as well which is our biggest weakness, not sure if Nani is going to stay or not. I think Inter want him. I'd love to keep all 3 for a bit of depth and extra options. A full season from Valencia is what I'm really looking forward to next season.

Maybe Sir Alex is looking for a non-diving option down the wings ?
