would certainly give some indication to how the jockey is going, Im tending to think that they seem to have patches of form from a few weeks to months.
How a jockey goes at individual tracks is probably more usefull and Ive used this in the past but not regularly.
For someone with no idea about individual jockeys the premiership table would give them an insight

I was looking at Queensland (if you can follow the table below) and Galloway has by far the best profit/loss ranking but a lower strike rate.

Quite intresting figures, the other one to standout is browne, on the other side byrne has been having an ordinary time of it the last few months and you compare his win rate to munce cassidy and colless comes up short on the win stakes and well down on profit
