good luck

mallee's 40 + . Will hopefully smash em :D (especially if Jonesy is plays again)
Tasman's 1-39 . the conditions won't help the rooster's. We are a very tall side and the ball should be on the ground all day with the expected weather conditions. Tonks' form should carry us thru tho for a 2-3 goal win.
South's 1-39 - Game of the round .... Seriously tho i expect that that the result will be less than 2 goals .

OL.

According to the scoreboard at the end, I was a bloody messiah.

When the goal umps got together at the end, there was 2 points, Souths way...

Still a messiah, as I got 2 points for that result...

The Demons won by 20 points in a hard tough game of football that see-sawed all day with the demons dominant in the second term and then finished off nicely when threatened at 3/4 time. The Roosters looked to go in to top heavy to me and one wonders if they can play all these talls come finals time? I know on a fine day you could argue the point but they were exposed badly today.
Thought M Goodwin was clearly BOG and looked back to his best in the conditions. I was pretty dissapointed in a few big name players from Tasmans performances, I will be interested in KWFs thoughts on their commitment today

Question without notice:

When WCP was coaching the Tigers two's, we got tuned over playing too many players (only two on the bench).

When you do the maths, what's wrong with the Souths team?

Its common for Sporting Pulse to list excess players. I've seen it frequently for clubs in other leagues. Does not mean that that many actually played.

Daicos I think you were pretty spot on Goodwin slaughtered us and we played dumb footy.
We were to tall and have a couple of blokes who need to go back to the twos and get some touches.
To have Kenn Campbell sitting in a back pocket going cold was a strange thing.
It was always going to be wet and tough we should have had a couple more smalls playing.

I agree with you KWF, there were a few of your players that simply didnt want to be out there. Waybacks deserved their win. Very strange that K Campbell sat in a back pocket, was he fit?
Do you have many in the reserves that are pushing for selection? If so who?
I honestly dont think you can play Orbons, George, Tonkin, Cimarosti, Wagener, Mason all in the same side, they are limited below their knees and a liability, and it stood out like dogs balls on Saturday. You could see the peckers exposing it to in the big games. I am not saying they will not have good days against the botttom sides but it is a concern

Don't think either side will be getting too carried away about the result Saturday. Conditions favoured demons, but to Roosters credit they fought it out to the death. Their 3rd quarter was full of character, and but for some poor finishing should have led by a couple at the last break.
Add Reinke and Brown to that defence and the problems are solved. On a dry day, the peckers wont get a look in.
Obviously KC was back there to help offset the run that those two provide.

and how about Raikiwasa's mark in the third...one of the best you will see.
