Francis, Parks are 2 other notable ones along with Reid

Yeah for sure, Darren is at Pathaway still i reckon, Chad in the A's at Kilburn but just doesn't seem'as enthusiastic about football any more. Ah well im sure there are thousands of junior footballer stories people could post lol

Chad is having a great yeAr, he has probably been one our more consistent footballers to date, I agree that over the last couple of years his motivation has been low, but can only go on his current atttude and form. Who are the 2 other notables?

I think he meant Francis and C.Parks are the other notables besides Reggie mate. Yeah I have only seen a couple games this year, I wasn't judging chads season or attitude, just that through pre season when i was around the club he was low in motivation as you said, but if thats lifted then it can only be good for The A's

Salisbury turned on the new lights for the first time last night, looks amazing, will look to have night footy played in the near future. Had a look at Kilburn's night game earlier in the year and it was a top night, very busy. Hoping to get a similar sort of thing happening.

Excellent, so I'll have sufficient lighting when I come out with the Grassroots cameras in a couple of weeks? ;)

If you are coming, you'll have more than adequate lighting.

We will have ours switched on 19th July. We have suffered in poor lighting for a long time, Cant wait to get outr under new lights :D

We also have 2 lights on #1 oval and money being raised to have the other 2 put in so we can also host night matches.

Exiteing times for both clubs.

Wow, i was excited for the Salisbury lights... but Duncs i think you may have possibly made my day. Ohh no, now i won't be able to blame the bad lighting for poor skills at training

Who do people think are Hectorville's most important players?

Robert Bartosik would be one IMO, plays on the wing IIRC. Big, tall, kicks goals. Seen him in their best players quite a bit for Heccies so far this season.

All of them. Just a great team, not a team of greats.

On show again yesterday. Jets lead by 6 goals in 2nd quarter. Heccies hung in there, got on top and had a very impressive win. After back to back flags u can tell the belief they have and they know how to win. 3-peat anyone??

I love to see them go 3 in a row, they really impressed me last year. Salisbury and Scotch just a bit far ahead of them though?

well Greens beat Salisbury y'day, and I know the Jets lost to Scotch by under a kick a few weeks back.
Div 4 Still up for grabs for sure!

Very, very disappointing loss for us against Hectorville, will make it very tough for us from here.
Umpire's were very frustrating, you take the good with the bad and if you play div 4 you can't expect great umpiring, but I can't stand it when they show no respect for the players. If you are being scragged continually off the ball and you bring it to the umpires attention you shouldn't have to cop a smug, wise crack response back, only for it to continue again when they turn back around. Fine, you don't make the correct decision because you are not a great umpire, but it doesn't take any talent to be respectful.

being from a different association we had the week off, I ventured out to watch a mate play for scotch agaisnt fitzroy, was good to catch up with a few blokes but the game was a shocker and very scrappy. Scotch won easy but geeze i though my association umpires were bad, these umpires were a joke, half the time they were that old they were standing next to each other at one end of the ground and were 80 metres off the play with no idea what to blow. I watched fitzroy players punch and scrag players off the ball all day and one bloke (number 1) for fitzroy throw probably atleast four or five punches during the game. In the end I think he got a yellow but hardly worth the umpires trouble as the damage had already been done. I asked one of the blokes from scotch if it is normally like this in div 4 and he said yeah unfortunatly some teams play like this each week? is it normally like this what are other peoples thoughts? Dont get me wrong I love hard footy and often given away my fair share of free kicks but blatant king hits behind play etc I thought were pretty much stamped out these days?

Chad in best for Kilburn again this week, looks like he is having a good year. I know Chad quite well and I can tell you that he wasnt even keen to play football at all this year or last. He moved to the south east a few years back and played some good footy down there. Not sure how you can say he has found it hard? I just think that some people dont actually think that playing football at an amateur level is the be all and end all in life.
