dammarell soft & harness gossip, with a bit of fact

Postby bayman » Sun Mar 18, 2007 12:00 am

well firstly with me i went up to dammarell & asked for a horse in brisbane (r6 no 1) who was 4.00 to have 25 e/w on it & he says no you cant its 5.00 or more e/w, i said your soft & went to the tote & backed it place (ran 2nd)

dammarell was seen at his stand in discussion with both security guards for several minutes but i don't know the reason as there was no trouble there

in the last 'sevensvees' who is no good opened 6.40 on the tote so he opened it at 6.00, he is supposed to know the form/credentials of runners why does he continually open up horses (every horse) shorter than the tote :? :? :? :? the horse in my market was 250/1 as a bookie you'd put up 50/1 but 5/1 = JOKE

as mentioned on preview post that several sa based drivers will be breathing a sigh of relief that they are not based in wa as the driver j.vella (i think his initial is j) has been given 12 months for proving positive to drugs, now with workplace enviroment conditions etc, what happens if a driver causing a serious fall which inturn causes a major injury to a driver eg(wheelchair) or similar ??

I THINK A BIG LAWSUIT

missed one, who were the two young trainers that came to a physical altercation (fight) recently ?? i'll give you the cryptic clues one has the same surname as a former central districts player the other trains a horse who has a name of a month in it

SO WHO IS IT ? EVERYONE KNOWS SO I'LL GIVE THE ANSWER SUNDAY WE'LL JUST SEE WHO GETS IT RIGHT

I Agree Bayman.
Bookies should be bending over backwards to get buissness, but you,ve got to wonder sometimes.
Dammarell refused a bet of mine last year for the same reason and needless to say i only bet with
now as a last resort. It,s hard not to cos he,s the bookie at the trots.
when Seal was at the trots, i was never refused an E/WAY bet under $5.00 even if he had sign displayed.
The only decent service you get from Dammarell is when he's not there i.e. Gawler dogs, where Vaughan Gray
runs his stand, he not only gives u odds up but also openly and honestly tells u his expert opinion on each race.

I was gunna go to KAPUNDA today but didnt because :
Non TAB meeting, so pools will be prob be less than $500 a race on the on course tote.
And DAMMERELL will be there betting 160% win and 180% ew markets.
GDP saturday nights is a waste of time betting with him as well.

Still hes there and surviving and its hard for trots bookies to win there with all
the collusions and premeditated shannanigans which happen.
If a bookie put up 115% markets at the trots we could all retire within 2 years.

No BAYMAN give credit where its due
DAMMERELL has the happy knack of having the winning horses
below the TAB odds.
Nearly every race he has that uncanny ability.

It's Pathetic isn't it but whats the answer?
Is it true that MEGA punters like Mal and Bayman have sent the trot
bookies to the wall over the years?

SPeaking of bookies to the wall.....

Yeah a bookie was caught climbing over the wall at GDP a few years ago.
The security guard caught him and said
" Get back in there and bet on the rest of the meeting."

the week bayman had gastro ecky and myself were watching damarells markets and i think there was only 1 race when he had some value when he had arva ginger @ $4, i then put $10 on it at that price and he immediately brought it into $3.50
