The a grade coach was supposedly sick but managed to go and watch the noarlunga v brighton game and left the assistant coach in charge who did well but was outcoached in the last qtr where he left a young player on the Reynella FF in the last qtr who kicked 3 on him in the last 20 minutes.

HV have recruited well but player management again remains an issue - a high profile recruit played b grade for disciplinary reasons

The depth of talent has to be concern for the club - b grade have a lot of c graders playing and the 18s are a disgrace with half the team and the coach not turning up for training regularly.

My view from my car high on the hill yesterday was good at times but I really hope the club can sort itself out in the senior grades so we see the true potential of these 3 teams realized

He ended up with 5 goals in the last quarter, not a bad effort to say the least.
Who was the A grader playing in the B grade, was it number 2? Played mainly up forward?

Old proccy gave number 12 a bath in the last quarter, he grabbed and kicked everything. Not sure why the coach didn't make the move ?????

The delivery to Procter in the last was a lot better than the earlier quarters. HV were good in the rucks but got smashed by Ciampa when the game was there to be won. Ciampa started getting a clean hand on the ball, giving the Reynella on ballers first look at the ball. If you want a excuse for the change of score in the last, don't look at the Full Back who was kept very busy. Maybe get Pomeroy to actually man up on Prescott at the stoppages.

Not going to argue with you there delivery of ball was very good

Clearly outcoached in last qtr which saw the game change dramatically
Valleys had most of the ball all day and couldn't sustain a 4 qtr effort
They have been very close to wins against Brighton Cove and now Reynella which makes next weeks game against Noarlunga a big test

There will definitely be changes to the team with 3 of their top 10 players coming back I would guess

Shoe Boy, can you give us the run down on the "B's" game last Saturday? Previous top (Bombers) and second top, the Shoes, got pounded by 83 points. I expected a close one!

Only that it involves noarlunga.. But was not at the game so not sure if it happen later that night or after the game.. Checking the scores there would have been some very disappointed shoe supporters.. Question Mark over their fitness as I believe flaggy over run them also?!?

Was at the valley vs wineflies game and think people are being a little hard the ass coach.. I don't believe making the change of the full back would have changed much they were simply smashed in contested footy when I counted and probably weren't used to the pressure of being in front and finishing of a game.. It just shows that u must play four quarters against the flies and the bombers to get the points..

Interesting call. As someone who watches DK every week I think his 2011 form has not matched his 2010 output. With regard the Medal I would be very surprised if anyone from Flaggies got close, simply as the team is so even the votes would be very well spread. As they say in the classics, "time will tell".

1) Meeting was not an emergency meeting by any stretch
2) The mentioned incident was not bought up within the meeting
3) The meeting was regarding the match on the weekend and a plan to improve moving forward

Was this directed at the coach always going defensive when he gets a lead?
