from what i heard the commitee is the problem. There was a couple of forwards there in 04 that didnt play in 05. He wore the number 15 guernsey and the surname was Smith. Relegation was only a matter of time by the way it was being run.

I dont think relegation was an issue, all the players were willing to stay if certain people got voted off the comitee. i think its because of the people higher up on the commitee treted the playing group like shit last year and are still there now.

who is the forward you are trying to locate wingman?

a colleague of mine is trying to locate him to play this year. He had some great talent and is sought after by a few teams. He managed to generate nearly 60 majors in only the handfull of games he played. If anyone knows of his whereabouts it would be greatly appreciated

Ahh i see the old committe problem. Committees can be funny things with regards to football clubs. Cant live without them for the work they do off the field, but its sometimes hard to live with them as they can effect the on field performance as well.

Ben Wilson (ex-S.Ad, Nwd, Coll, Swans), appointed assistant coach to Tim Symes, at ROCS (presumably playing, as well).

Agreed Trevor Smith is a strange one, i saw him kick a few goals against Westies but he was well fed by players up the field. Relies on the ball being kicked lace up out everytime..

I have heard some of Salisbury West players are heading to Portland, anyone else heard that rumour?

A few handy "Ins" for the Athelstone Footy Club :

Mark Turner (ex-Norwood), Chris Robertson (ex-N.A, P.A), Luke Abel (Broadview).
