Another 19 innings match today, this time between Pittsburgh and Atlanta.

The umpires must have really desperate to get the game ended given the howler they made for Atlanta's winning run

They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

4 ATLANTA 3 PITTSBURGH
Shocking decision, would you believe it
Fancy busting for 19 innings , and to get shafted by a umpiring decision

QUESTION
Should there be a third umpire to review these decisions ?
A video replay would have kept this game alive

Today they are PITTed against each other
Im captivated after yesterdays marathon
Will it be another draw after 9 digs ?

Couldn't agree more.

Game was just shy of 7 hours and for some reason I was keen for it to go to 20 innings at least.

Saw a bit of Boston V KC game this morning and even though Boston won easily at home, the KC batters were all over star pitcher John Lackey but they left too many on base. Keep an eye out for KC's Billy Butler in the future.

Last 2 games

13 BOSTON
9 KANSAS

12 BOSTON
5 KANSAS

They play tomorrow
Agree too many runs conceded by Boston who have a hope of winning the world series

Apparently San Francisco has just acquired one of my favourite players in Carlos Beltran from the Mets for one of their top pitching prospects.

Certainly like this move for the Giants.

I've no doubt calling each pitch for 6 hours affected his judgement. I have long thought that electronic pitch and ball calling would be best for accuracy and consistency and I've no doubt it would help with calls like this too.

Awesome move for the Giants their pitching is unbelievable but hitting was atrocious, this move helps them big time.
They dealt a top prospect called Wheeler for Beltran and the mets are paying 4 of his 6 millions owed this year.

Yankees having an awesome purple patch at the moment, hitters are really on song. Currently on 6 game winning streak and 8 from last 10. Only a game behind the Red Sox now. In the last 10 days they have beaten Oakland 17-7, Baltimore 17-3 ( including 12 in first innings) and this morning towelled the White Sox 18-7
