those blokes with thousands of posts actually own that site and moderate it, from what I believe its their business....they get offshore bookies to sponsor the forum therefore making $$$

its popular as in the US you cannot bet online with any US based bookies...the government has banned it, therefore US punters bet with offshore bookies and they have plenty of problems getting their money paid to them...things we take for granted with punting arent so easy in the US
