Their decision seems a bit harsh given what you have said Ken. Which Watherston?

It was discussed at the League AGM Last year, any League Official can be a Commissioner if can't get 3.

IF this is correct (and I stress IF) it now sets a very interesting precedent because technically anyone who is asked by the umpire to leave the ground due to the blood rule is guilty of not taking himself off the ground ( and therefore misconduct) and should be reported. It would be interesting to see how a defence of "I didnt even know I was bleeding" would hold up......

westcoastpanther wrote:Sounds like the PLFL tribunal hasn't changed, just received this e-mail....

Fun at the tribunal last night – Mallee park reported Ken Campbell for putting blood on Mallee Miller – He punched Kenny in the face to make him bleed!

Kenny got found not guilty (Blewit was the umpire and he checked Mallee out on the day and said there was no blood) but then the tribunal invented a charge of misconduct for Kenny not taking himself off of the ground when he was bleeding and gave him two games!! He was never asked by the umpire to leave so now it looks like if you bleed and don’t remove yourself from the ground immediately you get two games.

I'm not sure who MPFC play this week, but FYI, the match has been re-located to Pecker Park.
