Mick got his 100 yesty and I'd imagine a couple more will follow this week. Alot is made ofwwho we play but its still a matter of kicking them, especially Mick a small forward\midfielder and dawe in a lesser team. Odd result at the velodrome too, the brookers have been dismantled by the top 2 now although I'm sure beefy hasn't hit the panic button yet.

Certainly gives the roosters the leg up in the return bout in 2 weeks time.

I could believe the first bit but I'm reluctant to think that Angle Vale would ditch Steve at the moment. I'd be more inclined to believe it if Angle Vale were pushing to enter the APFL which I'd be guessing will happen within the next 5 years.

We had a swimming session the other week and Gums were also in attendance. Thommo knows a few of our lads and kept asking them what AV were like and how they were travelling. Not saying he's going there but was certainly a lot of interest.

I'd find it strange that Angle Vale would re-appoint Steve for one season, he took most of their playing group there in the first place, I would've thought the SAAFL would be the last competition that Thommo would want to coach in.
Angle Vale wouldn't have the money that Gummy's have either to throw around.

Oh dont be like that, Gatto went and played half a season for bottom placed Bridgewater for the love of the club. Thats what they will tell you anyway  , so surely Gum have a chance of paying him a coke and pie for his coaching duties.

Gum - Qualifying
Kangarilla - Elimination
Meadows - 2nd Semi
Echunga - 1st Semi
Nairne - Prelim
Kersbrrok or Echunga GF

Not sure how the toy oval at meadows got a final?? Poor parking as well.

There are a couple of ovals that normally look good this time of year that always get a Final.

Callington Normally gets a show 1st Week of Finals.
Macclesfield
Nairne B
Kangarilla

These are the guys out of the 5 so you would think they would get a look in for the first two weeks.

They Normally have 2 or 3 in mind for GF and its not decided until the Monday that week from memory!

Anyone Expecting any Upsets for the Finals coming up??
Week 1 - A Grade
Qualifying Final
Birdwood Vs Kersbrook - Brookers normally put in a great show come finals time but the weekends loss see this one going to Birdwood.
Elimination Final
Gumeracha Vs Meadows - Gums for me in this one.

Week 1 - B Grade
Qualifying Final
Meadows Vs Kersbrook - Again the old boys from Kersbrook seem to come good this time of year, Kersbrook for me.
Gumeracha Vs Echunga - I'll go Echunga just.

Will say that I wouldn't read one iota into Birdwoods big win over the weekend against Kersbrook as I'm sure they'll be a different proposition in a final.

You'll find out on the weekend won't you ORD!! Lets hope Maccy put up a better performance than a couple of weeks ago when Kersbrook kicked a Callington score against you!!

That was a strange score. Have the wheels completly fallen off down there at Maccy recently. When we played them at Gum I thought they were ok although heavily reliant on Daniele.
